We are very excited to present to you @jayeshsachdev Jayesh Sachdev is a multi-hyphenated creator. An artist, designer, creative entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, Design Educator. Jayesh is also the founder of the Multi-Award Winning label Quirk Box, and Branding Agency Quirk Box Design Studio( @thequirkbox ) . Jayesh holds the National Record for having painted India’s largest concept artwork and continues to practice as an internationally exhibited artist. His Wearable Art label Quirk Box has been awarded the Vogue India Fashion Fund Award (RU) and Grazia India Young Fashion Award while his Design Agency has won ‘India’s Best Design Award' in 2020, 2021 and 2022, 2023. As an artist, his works are experimental, whimsical and thought-provoking and larger than life. He has been regularly featured across media (Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Elle, Verve, India Today) and his art-based fashion label has been worn by a host of A-Lister celebrities. Jayesh graduated in Visual Communication at Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.

Anant Ahuja is a multi-faceted professional who is constantly making a mark in various creative and entrepreneurial domains. His role as the Managing Partner at The Irregulars Alliance involves ensuring tangible growth in the business, while making creative decisions to always evolve and get better. As a Cultural Producer he has contributed to the independent art and design scene through the organization of India’s first Anti Art-Fair, The Irregulars Art Fair, publishing The Irregular Times, India’s first art and design newspaper, and other such cultural experiences For his work in the field of cultural production, he was inducted into the Forbes Under 30, Asia List in 2020. The Irregulars Studio boasts of an enviable client list and portfolio: from working as cultural consultants on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, to producing animations for Budweiser and Lenskart, Designing identities for Spotify official playlists to illustrate stickers for Meta and Snapchat He’s done it all!!!

Rushil Bhatnagar is a graphic designer and motion artist, currently building his multi-disciplinary independent practice based out of India. He graduated from MIT Institute of Design in 2018. He has always been drawn to different mediums of design via story-telling and has worked for clients including Prateek Kuhad, Burma Burma India, Nucleya, Netflix, Ritviz, and Tinder. He believes that stories allow us to draw parallels to where dreams can bloom and take any shape that we like - a thought often reflected in his personal explorative work that tinkers around a dream-only utopian future. Debjani Mukherjee is an animation filmmaker, author, researcher and educator. She explores different art styles and experiments with stop-motion animation and picture books as a narrative medium. Swati Shelar's design studio jumps the gap between design and education, keeping children at the center of every project. Having trained as a product designer at NID, she went on to work as a toy designer and primary school teacher before getting an MA in Education at Stanford University. Since then, she has worked in the world of Indian education and EdTech as a curriculum designer and educator, starting Jump Design India in 2020. Swati plays at being an author these days with a book in progress called 'Useful Notes on People' for children's social-emotional learning. Sonata Dev is a transdisciplinary designer who seeks to create meaningful experiences that question normative design practices through speculative and discursive design. Her work consists of novel interactions and interfaces connecting humans and technology based on playful research, with a pinch of humour and a twinge of uncanny. She currently works as a UX designer that conceptualises and builds products for startups. Independently, she teaches speculative design as modules and workshops at various institutions. Ankon Mitra is a trained architect and a sculptor by practise. He is a TEDx speaker and a warrior for 'making connections across disciplines' with his brainchild - ‘Oritecture - Origami + Architecture’. Recipient of the All-India Gold Medal for Sculpture from the Prafulla Dahanukar Foundation in 2018 and the Lexus Design Award for Craft Design in 2020, his work has been exhibited in numerous countries. He is a member of the Indian Institute of Architects, the British Origami Society, Origami USA, and the Sculpture Network in Europe. His work was showcased at the Arte Laguna in Venice and the CODA Museum in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands in 2021. His sculptures and installations are part of public developments and private collections globally. Tarun Lak is an Indian-American Animator and Illustrator. Born in Miami, FL and brought up in Chennai, India, he attended Ringling College of Art & Design to study Computer Animation. He has since worked as a character animator on animated commercials and feature films including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Onward, Soul and Luca. He has also recently illustrated his first picture book, The Moon from Dehradun, out in 2022. Tarun currently works at Pixar and enjoys continuing to make art in his spare time. About the guest: Biju Dominic Chief Evangelist of Fractal & Chairman of FinalMile Consulting Biju is the Chief Evangelist of Fractal and Chairman of FinalMile Consulting. At Fractal, he is playing the new game that is emerging at the intersection of human and machine intelligence. He is driven by the belief that the more we understand the inscrutable algorithm in our brains, the better will be the technology we develop for our machines. About the guest: Pallavi Arora @thelittlepictureproject is a documentary filmmaker, designer and teacher based in New Delhi. She graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad with a specialisation in film and video in 2002. She has made films for various organisations and NGOs. She runs a brand called OHPA @ohpa.kids that makes playful and practical products for children and adults. She also currently runs The Little Picture Project(LPP)@thelittlepictureproject that exposes children and young adults to the visual arts with a special focus on filmmaking and photography. Shirley Bhatnagar @shirleybhatnagar is an almnus of NID, Ahmedabad, working primarily in Ceramics, based on historical research, she is known for her work with social and political commentary. Shirley uses her work to comment on social and political issues built upon historical study and research. She has been working with anthropomorphism in tableware and now in sculpture for over seven years and works with a gamut of facial expressions and body movements to inform the work, which infuse life into its characters.
