We had great time hanging out with Trish Torrales and Meg Butterworth. Trish Torrales is a singer/songwriter from Long Island, NY and is not new to the local music scene. She has played all over NYC, Long Island and has appeared on shows such as American Idol and MTV. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Debra is an open book. She shares her journey with breast cancer. Despite complications, ups and downs and that her cancer treatment had to be "low & slow" she fought the whole way through. This was my first time meeting Debra and the words stoic and resilience come to mind when I think about her journey . I am humbled by her courage and her heart to want to help educate others who are going through breast cancer and similar procedures to help them along the way.
