Astonishingly, Ann’s doctor failed to discuss her diagnosis further, leaving her in a void of information and uncertainty. Unwilling to accept this lack of guidance, Ann and her husband took matters into their own hands and sought a second opinion from a specialist. This decision changed the course of Ann’s journey.
