Nic Tovey is a Psychotherapist, coach, teacher and author and has been supporting men, women, couples and young people for the last 12 years. After humble beginnings growing up in the north of England Nic joined the Royal Navy at 16 in search of adventure and this thing called “manhood”. He then left the military 5 years later to travel the world and pursue adventure on his own terms. Soon after this he experienced a life threatening violent assault and subsequent experience with PTSD and severe depression. This tumultuous time then inspired Nic to embark on a journey of self healing, which eventually took him to do the work he does now. Nic has been especially passionate about supporting men and boys to challenge the old, outdated and often harmful ideas of what it means to “be a man”.
