Atlantic Lithium Limited (ALL) has secured approval to list its shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), becoming the first near-term lithium producer with an in-country asset to do so. The flagship project, Ewoyaa, received a Mining Lease in October 2023 and attracted investment from Ghana's mineral sovereign wealth fund (MIIF) in January 2024. A GSE listing offers Ghanaians the chance to invest in the country's vital sector. ALL aims to break ground at Ewoyaa later this year, contributing to the growing global demand for electric vehicles.

The road that connects the project to major infrastructure is now undergoing an overhaul, and the company is also enhancing its ESG activities in the region, following the construction of a school and other local amenities. The plan now is to recommence drilling after a short preparatory period that will involve trenching, and in due course look to put JORC numbers around resource in the ground ahead of a resumption of production. However, the company already has stockpiles waiting for shipment, so once the road is ready, cashflow could start fairly quickly.
