We’re getting LIT ….. and I’m not just talking about the Live Item Tag. In Ep #23 we’re covering how Sir Spencer and Dame DuhLaurien use v4v on their show ‘Bowl After Bowl’. The unique aspect they bring is that they translate a concept their listeners would understand already and apply this to the idea of supporting. In particular the weed/marijuana concept of ‘passing the bowl’ and how this mentality is closely aligned with the value for value model. Very cool!

How can you implement the V4V model if you have a daily podcast? In Ep #22 we dive into ‘Lifespring! Family Audio Bible’ with Steve Webb (aka The Godcaster). Due to his daily episodes we see how he structures the feedback portion to be shorter and more adaptable, why the V4V model is especially pertinent to minority groups (or those who have been persecuted in the past) and how he has adapted many of the tried and tested ‘No Agenda’ techniques into his support requests.

How can you source unique content for your show from listeners? In Ep #21 we dive into ‘Fun Fact Friday With Leila And David’ and see how they have implemented so many P2.0 tags, why your show doesn’t need to run forever to ask for value in return, joining communities where V4V is already understood and continually repeating the message inside your own show.

In Ep #20 we examine the presentation of the Podfather himself (Adam Curry) aided by the Podsage (Dave Jones). P2.0 is spearheading the innovations in podcasting and also the methods of implementing the V4V model (which Adam helped create). A key takeaway from this episode was the need to include the listener feedback into your show, it just doesn’t work without it!

After a 5 month break I'm back at it again. In #19 of Season 2 I explain my new purpose for the V4V podcast and my thoughts on how the new format will go for the time being (absolutely liable to change)!

And so closes the chapter on this version of the Value For Value podcast.
