Kapteyn, the first professor of Astronomy and Theoretical Mechanics at the University of Groningen. June 18th 2022 marked the 100th anniversary of his death.

As chair of De Jonge Akademie of the KNAW, she is very involved in coordinating activities and initiatives for Ukrainian researchers and scholars. Our second guest is Hedderik van Rijn, professor at our Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. He is using his SlimStampen adaptive learning tool to help refugees learn the language of the country they’re currently staying in.
