Comedian Emmanuel Sonubi joins Georgie on the podcast ahead of his UK tour ‘Curriculum Vitae’. Georgie and Emmanuel met at Edinburgh Fringe and they chat about their experiences of taking shows up there. Emmanuel tells Georgie about his upcoming tour as well as how he got into stand-up, his experience with a particular heckler, working on cruise ships, performing on television, comedian riders, work envy and what he’s watching. Georgie is joined by Elle McAlpine, an Intimacy Coordinator (‘Poor Things’, ‘One Day’, ‘It’s a Sin’) and Actor (‘Gentleman Jack’). Georgie asks Elle more about her time working as an Intimacy Coordinator on the Oscar nominated film ‘Poor Things’ where she worked closely with Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo and other actors. Elle also talks about the TV shows she has worked on like everyone’s favourite new Netflix series, ‘One Day’. She breaks down what her job involves and Georgie finds out what she likes watching.

This week Georgie is joined by Actor and Writer Rosie Day. Rosie wrote and previously performed a solo show called 'Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon' that is now heading to the Garrick Theatre in the West End. It will star Charithra Chandran who played Edwina Sharma in series two of 'Bridgerton'. Georgie and Rosie discuss their experiences of making one girl/woman shows, Georgie finds out more about Rosie’s background as a child actor when she worked on television series like 'Outlander' and they (of course) chat about watching 'One Day'.

Actor Jonny Weldon, who plays Ian in the recent hit TV show 'One Day' on Netflix, joins Georgie on the podcast! Georgie asks Jonny more about his time filming and they dissect what it is that's so magical about the storyline and characters. Jonny also chats about the funny videos that he started posting online in lockdown, working on stage when he was younger and what other shows he enjoys watching.

Georgie is performing her romantic comedy one woman play, 'Sunsets', at Omnibus Theatre in Clapham TONIGHT (20th July) and TOMORROW (21st July) at 8.30pm. And before this tonight, there will be a performance of 'Mr Sister' at 7pm with Holly Kellingray and Brooke Jones, AKA Holly and Brooke are Hooked. This week, Georgie is joined by Actor Emma Harvie, AKA Meggles from 'Colin from Accounts'! Georgie was so excited to get some behind the scenes details from Emma about the show; including how she got the job in the first place. Emma tells Georgie more about her other film and TV work (that Georgie also loves) and Georgie finds out what Emma likes to watch when she's not filming.

Georgie is (re)joined on the podcast by the brilliant Andy Bennett. Andy is a Stunt Coordinator in the film and television world and he is back on the pod to chat more about his work, including his love of 2nd Unit Directing. This, of course, involves answering more of Georgie's questions about the recent productions he has filmed and what his favourite stunts are. Georgie continues to be fascinated by how Andy makes screen magic happen and, finally, she finds out what he likes to watch on Netflix when he's not working.

This week, Georgie is joined by Tom Duke, Creator of 'Stepping Through Film', a website and social media page that brilliantly blends the worlds of reality with filming locations, through photos that Tom takes. Tom is a Photographer and Writer and Georgie asks him more about his work, what it's like to go behind the scenes of epic films like 'The Notebook' and what he likes to watch when he's not doing all of that. This week, Georgie was so excited to be joined by the brilliant Dr Jennifer Dunphy, AKA Jen Bunney from the iconic reality television shows 'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills'. Jen chats to Georgie about her book 'Don't Tell Me What To Do: The Secret Guide to Unlocking Your Power, Potential and Purpose'. Georgie also asks Jen about her time on reality shows including how producers shaped a particular narrative that wasn't quite true to life and what it was like to be studying in the medical field while her co stars were venturing into Hollywood. Jen and Georgie touch on the difference between reality shows back in the day and reality shows now, Georgie finds out how Jen came to end up on 'Laguna Beach' in the first place and Jen reveals which Bravo TV series is her favourite. Georgie's one woman play, 'Sunsets', is coming to Brighton Fringe this weekend; on Saturday 13th May and Sunday 14th May at The Rotunda Theatre in Brighton at 4.45pm (1 hour). Sunsets is a solo show, written and performed by Georgie Grier, about romantic comedies. Set during a live podcast event, it follows one woman's attempt to create her own walking off into the sunset moment. While recording it of course. But will there be a happily ever after? Georgie chats to Director Philip Barantini about his latest work directing the upcoming medical thriller series 'Malpractice' which is coming to ITV1 on 23rd April and will then be available to watch on ITVX. Phil has also directed films like the incredible 'Boiling Point' and Georgie asks him more about his process on these productions with such intense storylines. Phil also chats about what it's like working as a Director having previously worked as an Actor and Georgie finds out what he enjoys watching on TV.

'Sunsets' is Georgie's one woman play which she wrote and will be performing at Brighton Fringe on 13th and 14th May at 4.45pm in The Rotunda Theatre: SQUEAK. Georgie is joined by Director Francesca Comencini to chat about her work on the recent Sky show 'Django' as well as other brilliant television series such as 'Gomorrah'. Georgie finds out more about her time making 'Django' including casting the Actors and she also asks Francesca what she likes to watch on television when she's not working. Georgie is THRILLED this week to be joined by legendary Writer Nick Hornby and Actor and Writer Morwenna Banks to talk about new series ‘Funny Woman’ on Sky. Nick and Morwenna chat more about creating the show which has been adapted from Nick’s brilliant novel ‘Funny Girl’. Georgie asks Nick about his wonderful books in general as well as what it’s like adapting work for the screen. She finds out about Morwenna’s time writing ‘Funny Woman’ (and acting in it!) and then asks Nick and Morwenna what they each like to watch when they aren’t working.
