Every Saturday at Saturn Cocktail Club (906 Congress Ave. Austin, TX), I hold a residency playing Jazz, Deep Soulful House, and Disco. I start the evening playing jazz standards ( Wes Montgomery/ Herbie Hancock), soul ( Sade/ Moonchild) and fusion ( Snarky Puppy/ Atjazz); then slowly transitioning into Deep Soulful House Music ( Vick Lavender/ Glenn Underground). Its a sweet small venue with lots of vibes and character. Most of all, it has an amazing sound system. Here's a little taste of the beginning of the night. Hey everyone thank you for tuning in with me, this is a live mix at The Cats Noir Hotel during their first art show. The art show was held simultaneously during SXSW 2022 in Austin, Texas. I want to thank Ani and Vicki for having there and their great supporting staff. I also want to Kayleigh and staff at Uncle Nicky's Restaurant for the drink specials and great service. The art show featured live painting while I was mixing which was pretty dope. Others had paintings, photography and custom clothing. Looking forward in doing this event again.
