We continue our reflection on a second discipline that we can adopt, having begun a personal relationship with Jesus.
How do we nurture it? We consider prayer and learn how to pray from the Lord's prayer. There are all kinds of prayers including praying in the Spirit. We look at what Jesus taught the disciples when they asked him how they should pray.

Jesus paid a hefty price for your life and mine .That price is inclusive of a guarantee to us for an abundant life in Him but not many of us experience this abundance. We reflect on what this truly means for us.

We reflect today on how God had put so much spiritual deposit in Moses as the leader of the Israelites.When they complained and the burden felt too heavy for him, God asked him to call 70 elders to help.What was in one man needed 70 people to handle.
We also reflect on the two elders who didn't show up and seemingly undeserving yet they still received the blessing.

God calls us who He created us TO BE even before we become.This journey of becoming may therefore require us to conquer certain giants first before we can conquer the greater ones that then usher us into our God given destinies.We reflect on Gideon- who we are introduced to when he is in hiding with a CV of a fearful man.He follows God's instructions,conquers personal giants and ultimately becomes who God called him from the start- a Mighty Man of Valor.
