At the end of the 60 second review we give our opinion, on whether you should buy it, shortlist it or avoid it.

Whiskey Scoreboard

Season 3, episode 5 is there with a new segment entitled Whiskey Scoreboard, aka, Scoreboard.
We start out the pod with another edition of Searching for Pappy, where we discuss our finds for the week, which include; Penelope Rio, Barrell Bourbon Amburana Cask Finish, amongst other whiskies.
Our Whiskey Scoreboard segment is where one of us, or both or us, gives our overall impresses (review) of a whiskey, which is either new to us or just one we would like to highlight. Our score is out of 5.0 points, with the higher score being the better one. We will keep a running list of all the whiskies reviewed and their score will be put up on our Scoreboard. Giving back to our community is an essential part of being a good human. In Mail Call we discuss the Tampa Heart Gallery event, Be Mine 2024. We detail the purpose of the event and what good it provided the Tampa area. Thank you, again to Wally from Whiskey Willys in Tampa for donating to the cause. We also discuss our whiskey tasting events and how you can be a part of the next one! Not really:)
Searching for Pappy, we discuss our weekly picks including a TC SP from Calvin, at Novi Party Store. OF 1924 is again picked up, as well as, 1792 12yr, and a Penelope bottle straight from the distillery itself (more to come on this in the future).

Tail Gating Shenanigans

It is that time of the year, football tail gating season!! We are pumped to bring you some highlights for this years annual Michigan tailgating experience. We brought three different, and unique whiskeys for this years event. Remus Highest Rye Bourbon, Michters Sour Mash and Old Elk Wheated Bourbon Store Pick from Whiskey Willys in Tampa. We detail each whiskey and let you know what folks thought about each one. Overall the feedback was very positive.

Michigan Whiskey Adventures

The Wolverine State! The boys are back together recording episode 33 and 34. In this episode, Gary details his trip around the great state of Michigan stopping at MANY wineries and few distilleries, including Mammoth, New Holland, Fox and Oden and Coppercraft. So many quality juices to sample, not enough time. Gary gives his thoughts on whiskies he tried, as well as, recapping another whiskey tasting event. Steve hosted, at his home, about 20 people for a great night of all things whiskey. From education to sampling much fun was had and no one was injured:) A full recap is included.
What's the Juice is back! Steve tries to guess another unknown whiskey sample from Gary. This time John Paul Malted Indian Whisky is sampled, and yah, what an experience for Steve!
