Ottawa Senators Season Grades with Kevin Lee

5/1/2024
Alex is back with some more Ottawa Senators related content. Today, Kevin Lee makes his yearly return to the podcast for the yearly edition of Ottawa Senators Season player grades! The two have been doing this for three years now. It is a simple concept, taking each player and giving them a letter grade. This is based off of expectations heading into the year, results vs those expectations, and the overall feeling of the season. Alex and Kevin break down each player on the Sens roster, and a common theme starts to emerge. Despite what can only be described as a disappointing year, a lot of the player groups have relatively good grades. However, that all changes when they get to the goaltending. On top of talking about the season, the guys look forward to what may be needed this offseason. Can they keep one goalie the same? What about both? All of this is discussed, and more!

Full League NHL Trade Deadline Review

3/11/2024
Alex is back with another episode, and the second of this week! After reviewing the Ottawa Senators deadline specifically, he turns to the NHL Trade Deadline as a whole and breaks down every single move. This content used to be on the MnM Hockey Podcast, which is currently on a break. So, Alex is talking both Sens and NHL here for the time being! Starting in the Eastern Conference, it felt like the teams out East did a lot less big swinging than their counterparts in the West. Alex names a few teams in the Atlantic that went for small upgrades over spending large amounts. While also looking at one Metro team that did make some bigger moves. He then changed to the Western Conference where a handful of teams decided to get better. Maybe the most notorious of all is Vegas, which once again seems to be up to some salary cap manipulation. Alex gives his thoughts on what they are doing and why teams shouldn't be angry.
