Alli Fitz’s newest track “When We’re Together” was inspired by the series and helps celebrate love and happiness. An accomplished social media star, Alli Fitz achieved viral success early by singing, streaming and doing voiceover work on various social media platforms. Alli has amassed a loyal following of over 10 million fans across various social media platforms and has began shifting her focus towards music full time. Alli’s newest track, “When We’re Together,” is a celebration of her newfound love after being single for an extended period of time. “I have been single for the longest time, and people know one of my relatable posts is about being single, and people can relate to that,” Alli said. “Recently, I got a boyfriend, which is really exciting. I finally decided to write a song about that. Most of my songs are girl-empowering, you don’t need a man and can do it on your own. Now I wanted to switch it up a bit because I got a man, and it is about the feelings I have when I’m with him when we’re together.” She added, “I say that I promise that I’m worth the wait because I’m the girl that you need. One of the songs on there talks about him and his life.” There are 12 total tracks on the album that also includes “Boss Talk 2,” “End of the Road,” and a song called “Becky, Karen, Susan,” which he said is a little story about three of his favorite teachers. The song “Again,” is one that shows off his range and has GRAMMY written all over it, Hammaz said. “I am really proud of the artistic ability for me to jump from different topics and different subjects, and stay in that pocket,” he said. Hammaz has a versatile style of music, saying that he performs hip-hop most of the time, and is also a great storyteller. “I’m good in each department,” Hammaz. “Some people bounce from topic to topic, but struggle in different areas like storytelling, club songs, or drill music. Mengrosso has a hauntingly beautiful, and unique, voice that fits right in with the power of her lyrics and the heavy sound that it complements. This track is about putting the time and work into letting go of someone she loved. It focuses on her efforts to move on and move forward with her life, despite the scars and the pain that it has brought. “I just wanted to let go of a person, and let go of the memories,” said Mengrosso. “I’ve accepted the fact that I can’t blame someone for what happened in the past. Instead of me carrying that weight on me, I just want to forgive the person and move on.” Mengrosso wrote this song years ago, but came back to it about a year back when she rediscovered it in a different way. She said that whenever she has a significant personal experience, she will incorporate it into her material because it is helpful to handle what life throws at her. Writing this track was a cathartic experience for Mengrosso. “When I go through something, I try to put it into my music because this is what gives me a drive to go through stuff,” she said. “It’s so personal. It is about finding strength and finding something that will drive you to achieve what you want. You can find strength in your weaknesses, like pulling out the light from darkness.” “Unforgiven” is part of a 12 song album that Mengrosso eyes a release for the end of April, and it will also include a recently released single titled “Under.” She is still going through the naming process for the record, and related it to naming a baby because of how much the work means to her. Life experiences are what inspires her work, and she is taking the time to choose the proper name. Mengrosso has a background in musical education, and is a composer who has been writing music for many years, as well. She started as a classical singer and developed an interest in rock and metal as she grew up. Now she is writing and producing her own music, and she said she couldn’t be happier about her path. She started her musical journey by playing piano and harp, and then began taking voice classes as a child. Mengrosso writes all her music on the piano, and she said this has helped her in developing her style. She is influenced by opera singers like Maria Callas, Cecilia Bartoli and Nellie Melba, but also listens to plenty of music outside of the classical world. Now the hip-hop/R&B artist feels that he is putting out some of his best material yet, with his single “If I Said I Had the Answers, Would You Listen” set to be released on his birthday, February 27.His newest song is an R&B track that will be complete with a music video featuring himself and his girlfriend “Wolves.” It captures the essence of love and being in a relationship, and Apollo Liberace said it is melodic, while also featuring a little bit of rap and indie vibes. “The song is talking about everything you go through in a relationship,” he said. “The main lyrics are, ‘so cry alone, or you can cry on me if you want to.’ Just talking about two different people in a relationship. It’s displaying all the emotions you go through when you’re happy together. If you love somebody it’s never going to always be great. It’s really who you’re with, to argue with, the rest of your life.” Also in the works is a single titled “Paradise,” featuring Tyla Yaweh, who has worked with the likes of Post Malone, Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa. Down the line, Apollo Liberace has plans to create an EP. He said the first song is mostly R&B, but others will feature him on acoustic guitar with a more “indie-folk” feel. “It’s a lot different than what I’ve done before,” he said. “I think it’s the best music I’ve made. It’s real and full of emotion, with different stories.” Apollo Liberace uses life experiences as his source of inspiration when making music. It definitely influences all of it.” Apollo Liberace started his musical journey at a young age, singing in the church choir and at youth camps. He wrote and recorded his first song when he was 10-years-old while living in San Antonio, Texas. He followed in the footsteps of his older sister, who was producing records and performing. When Apollo Liberace was 12 he had already found success while working alongside his sister, singing originals along with covers of the Jackson 5 and James Brown before turning to the hip-hop scene. When he was 15 he moved to South Korea due to his parents being on military assignment. While there, he performed as the opening act in the G-Unit Far East Tour, and was eventually signed by Korea Def Jam Far East. He moved back to the San Antonio where he had a song on the radio at the age of 17, and performed at events with thousands of people every weekend. After a stint in Atlanta and then moving to Los Angeles, Apollo’s hip-hop trio Minus Gravity was signed by Capitol Records and had success making music. The group split ways after about a decade together, which he said was hard because they were friends he had known since he was a kid. But since then, things have been taking off for Apollo Liberace. He spent years flying planes in various capacities, but after meeting a friend who taught him the craft, he knew singing was the life for him. Daneka Nation has released a new single titled “Sacred Ground,” which is a Kix Brooks penned tune that describes what a high school pal had gone through in life. “It’s kind of a story of my best friend in high school,” Daneka said. “He got out of high school and the first thing he wanted to do was have kids. So we graduated in May, and he was already out hitting the clubs on Fridays and Saturday nights. He was a great country western dancer. Well, he found a woman who he got pregnant and had kids. He just couldn’t wait. It’s really kind of my best friend’s story.”The original version of the song didn’t have much fanfare, but in 1992, McBride and the Ride shot it up the charts to number two. The only song in front of it was “Achy Breaky Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus. Daneka heard the tune on the radio one day while driving, and it hit home so hard that he knew he needed to record it. He pointed out that the storyline touches anyone who went through a similar situation, or anyone who knows young parents working their tails off to get by. Daneka feels that “Sacred Ground” is the best track that he has recorded, and it has had airplay in South America and Europe. The track has more than 200,000 listeners on Spotify, and Daneka is relishing in the fact that it is taking off. “It’s exciting,” Daneka said. “Finally I’ve got something big to work with, and I can’t wait for it to be out there for everybody to hear. I want to hear it on every radio station in the U.S. and all over the world.” Daneka Nation’s creative style is a unique one, as he works with an Argentinian multi- instrumentalist named Ariel who plays every instrument on “Sacred Ground.” Ariel will put together the music, and send it to Daneka to review before he gets in the studio. Daneka then lays down his baritone vocals along with some background singers to complete the track. Daneka is a former pilot who worked as a chief flight instructor, and also flew an air ambulance rescuing premature babies from small Texas towns. Due to being partially color blind, Daneka stopped flying and became self-employed. This is when he also discovered his love for singing. “I learned a couple songs and went to karaoke bars, and wasn’t very good,” Daneka said. “Finally I ran into an 87-year-old man who was 80% blind. He was a quartet singer who had been singing since he was six. So he couldn’t drive, and I couldn’t sing, so we paired up and he taught me basically everything about how to sing over a period of three or four years.” Daneka said they would go out as much as six times a week, hitting multiple karaoke bars. Eventually his karaoke buddy passed away, but Daneka’s love for music and belting out vocals lived on.“I started lining things up to get the best people around me,” Daneka said. “I got the best guitar players, bass players, drum players and started making music in 2021.” The first song he made a Doug Stone cover called “In a Different Light,” which he changed up into more of a “rock/country” song. Daneka Nation has seven songs recorded, and has a goal of getting up to 20 tracks.
