The crew has done it! We have made it to episode 100!! What a journey , we want to say thank you to each and every one of our listeners, friends and family for listening, for talking back, for doing this with us. So again, thank you and back to the review! Episode 100 is about none other than SCREAM! Yes the movie that was the first thread to one of the greatest duos ever!

The WIGTP crew decided to get "Nutty" for Episode 99 and the best way to do that is to review one of Eddie Murphy's Nuttiest roles, The Nutty Professor. This episode's WTF moments exceeds Sherman's "Fat Zilla" moment, gas and all. We brought in a special guest, Chappell from the Recap Kickback Podcast to chat with us about this movie. We take a deep dive into the space of insecurities, our biggest, "I've reached THAT point" moment and if Buddy had all of Sherman's mind but kept his thoughts away from Sherman. This is a wild ride and in the end we're able to answer, Was It Good Though???

For Episode 98 we're back with another panel, but this time we're expanding the scope of things to 90's Movies and TV Shows. We had a few returning guests from our last panel and also brought in some new faces. Either way, the energy was matched within this episode. A few categories that were up to debate were, Best Movie Soundtrack, Best Death, and Best Iconic Scene. Everyone came prepared to debate and talk trash. Happy WAS IT GOOD THOUGH Podcast Tuesday! We’re 4 episodes from hitting a century however this week we’re taking it a back! We had to enlist our brother Austin as we discuss “Undercover Brother” starring Eddie Griffin and Dave Chapelle. Austin came with notes and past grievances he had to discuss with the crew, we also get into what “The Man” may do today to cause commotion, mayo, much more and of course, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH!

The WIGT crew discusses Movies, TV Shows and now Documentaries, Episode 95 we're getting into Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told. Just like this epic Atlanta event, this episode gets crazy but we had to match the energy of the documentary. We brought in Kindahl to breakdown the large impact this event had on the music industry, predominately movies and tv shows in the 80s and 90s. Asking if we would have drove 36 hours without knowing where we would sleep and if something similar to Freaknik could be accomplished in 2024. Before there was The Pynk, there was The Player's Club. The crew is reviewing what many call a "cautionary classic" for Episode 94 and we decided to bring Chris back for this one. We discussed if this type of movie could be made today and what song each of us would strip too.....yes, you read that right. This episode does go off the rails but that's a common theme, so join us as we discuss the movie Written, Directed and Starring, the one and only Ice Cube. Along with answering the question that brought us here, Was It Good Though?

The crew is continuing out biopic run with Coleman Domingo's Rustin. He's been receiving a lot of praise for his role within this movie and it's no shocker as to why. We bring in Chris to discuss Rustin's friendship with MLK and his impact behind of scenes of the March on Washington. We made sure to ask, "Was Martin wrong in how he handled the Rustin situation?", "Did Rustin play his hand to far from his chest?, and of course, "Was It Good Though?"

For the month of March, we wanted to tap into biopics ! This week we’re heading to Jamaica. Jazz and Jason discuss “Bob Marley: One Love” and everything surrounding the Marley family. We discuss what biopics we would love to see made , our favorite scene within the movie , where do Lashana Lynch and Kingsley Bin-Adir rank for us in acting, the way we feel biopics should be made to show respect to a legends legacy, but most importantly… WAS IT GOOD THOUGH?!

The WIGTP presents The Temptations Vs Five Heartbeats Panel for Episode 91. We brought some friends on for this special episode and they didn't disappoint. The debate topics within the panel range from Best Villain, Top 3 Best Quotes, and of course, Best Musical Performance. We left two categories up to the viewers to decide because our judges were on opposite sides. As we conclude February and prepare for our March, we wanted to take it back to 2000s. Yes, this may get a little toxic but we brought a long a couple of our friends to finally decide break down “Love & Basketball” . The crew will be discussing first crushes, if Q really liked Monica, was it a toxic love affair or were they just young , our favorite tv show and movie couples and of course, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH?!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY 💙, or so it was when we recorded this. We hope you had an amazing lovers day but if you’re still love drunk we have the perfect review for you. Episode 89 is about “Rye Lane” the romance comedy about Dom and Yaz who take a stroll to escape the day, and maybe more that meets the eye! This week Crystal is back and we get intimate. We discuss our Top 5 romance movies, what love is, of course we discuss Dom and Yaz and how wacky yet artistic the film was, and most importantly, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH?!?

How did she get on that boat?? That's right, for Episode 88 we're discussing Acrimony a day before Valentine's Day. Love might be in the air but it wasn't in this movie or during this review. We had to bring back Erica and Kindahl to discuss this TP creation. The crew made sure to hold TP accountable, along with 85.74% of the characters in this movie. Taraji get's all her flowers for this role because Melinda was a Grade A villain. Through it all, we made sure to ask, Was It Good Though??

We're back with episode 87 and we're heading to Memphis! And who better to take along the trip than Memphian, Shawn! This episode gets off the rails, early and often but we only followed our leads from the movie. The crew discuss who was the real villian of the story, we discuss family matters, Sam L Jackson roles, our fave black duos, a duo we haven't had yet and what type of movie would they make, and of course, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH!!

Episode 87 will be out tomorrow and the gang will be discussing "Soul Men" starring the late Bernie Mac and the legendary Samuel L Jackson, however, post episode the were wrapping up and the conversation was too good not to record. The crew begins to talk about characters in TV and movies who television wanted us to love but they weren't worth a 2 pennies!

For Episode 86 we're discussing a book full of seasoning, musical numbers, failed love, and our man Jesus. This isn't the good book we're use too, this is "The Book Of Clarence" AKA Clarence and Dem. We're joined with our friend of the pod, Dave from the BrickWall Reviews. The crew made sure to match the energy of the movie and tables were shaking. The question of this movie being a tragic love story was thrown, along with if Jesus came back today, how would he be treated in society. Things do go off the rails but in a holy way, we make sure to for blessings and Was It Good Though?

The crew is 15 episodes from 100 , slowly but surely inching to that benchmark! We discuss the difference in today to episode one and the growth within the content! However today we are reviewing Cord Jackson’s new film, “American Fiction!” A film about a frustrated professor and writer , Jeffrey Wright, who must go back to his hometown and confront family issues , societial issues, and the most important thing of all, HIMSELF. This movie had a lot of elements we face as a society so we had to put on our hats and answer responsibly but also hit you with some jokes! Can non black people, truly find issue with black people using the N word? We disscuss how History in school is very watered down , and it’s rewrote as American history when it truly should be American Fiction. And we answer the most important question, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH!
