The Charlotte Hornets have increased their winning streak to 4 straight in a tough win against the Utah Jazz. Grant Williams and Miles Bridges did a great job of closing the game. We all know the Hornets do not typical make trades during the season. Especially significant ones. To make 3 significant trades this season is uncharacteristic of the franchise but huge for the develop of this team. The deadline acquisitions does not make this team a contender but it does help push the team in the right direction. The Charlotte Hornets have been struggling the last couple of games and a lot of that has been due to injury. But after so many games, it's noticeable that the team is starting to lose their flair. The team is not putting forth any effort and do not look to will their way through games. It's still early in the season but a majority of this team already looks checked out. It is to the point where I don't believe basketball adjustments will save this team. The players need to search within themselves or the front office needs to start making moves. Not to save the season but to save this franchise from years of embarrassment.

LaMelo Ball has re-injured his ankle and it is expected to keep him out for an extended period of time. Should the Hornets look to blow the roster up because of this injury? This will be the 4th year in a row where the Hornets have received some type of significant injury or suspension to derail the season. With LaMelo Ball being the best player by far, it leaves the offense to a struggling Gordon Hayward and a Terry Rozier who is just coming off injury himself. With lack of true depth, this team will continue to struggle and there is not many positives signs to look for unless some moves are made.

The Charlotte Hornets beat the Boston Celtics on a Monday night on league pass and the Hornets fan rejoice thanks to a dagger 3 pointer by Miles Bridges. It was a great game where truly everyone played a part in the victory but LaMelo Ball of course was the star of the show.
