They also hit on some of their favourite bets from the first week of NHL action and how they try to find good value on a busy night of NHL hockey. They all had a good laugh about the dangers of live betting as well plus Tyler shared his egregious slip up from last week when he accidently bet the opposite of what he wanted to. To wrap things up, they gave their best bets for tonight's NHL slate and Tyler gave another NFL teaser for Week 7. 2:50 - Early season NHL thoughts 10:15 - Shot props & other NHL bets 15:50 - Finding your process 22:15 - NFL Betting Hosted on Acast. The NHL Season Is Back!

10/12/2022
The NHL season got underway over in Europe last Friday between the Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks, but yesterday in North America, the real season got started. The Vegas Golden Knights scored late to beat the LA Kings on the road and the New York Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning at Madison Square Gardens. Tonight, the NHL slate is much fuller with six games on the schedule. On today's show, Tyler Yaremchuk, Liam Horrobin and BaggedMilk broke down each game and laid out what bets they are going with. Of course, the main focus of the conversation was on the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers kick off their campaign on home ice versus the Vancouver Canucks, in an early division game. The BLT Boys gave out a variety of picks from puck line to shots on goal. Also on the show, they talked about the NFL. Last week, BaggedMilk came very close to having a perfect day but fell just short thanks to a Philadelphia Eagles receiver. Tyler then gave out his lock parlay of the week which included two NFL matchups. Finally, they closed out the show with a BLT Sandwich for tonight's NHL action. Hosted on Acast. NHL scoring props, NFL week 4 & the Blue Jays screw Tyler

9/28/2022
The BLT Bets trio, Tyler, Liam and BaggedMilk, are back together for the first time in a few weeks. In today's episode, the three of them dove into the NFL season so far and how BaggedMilk had a disappointing week three of betting. They then looked at what could be some nice teaser players for the upcoming weekend and advised on what player props to run with to start the season. Liam also gave away one pick he likes for the upcoming weekend, where he bets against one of the undefeated teams. Also, with the NHL season right around the corner on the show, player props are showing up here, there and everywhere. BaggedMilk read out the props that he liked, then Liam and Tyler gave their take on if they will go over or under that total. Players included in this segment were Auston Matthews, Connor McDavid and new Calgary Flames forward Jonathan Huberdeau. They then looked at some team props, from team totals to division winners. To close out the show, Tyler lets the world know how the Toronto Blues Jays lack of effort vs the New York Yankees last night screwed him on multiple bets. He then said that betting on them tonight would be a good idea. You can hear all that and more on episode 19 of BLT Bets. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

A wild week one in the NFL & Bo is carrying the Blue Jays

9/14/2022
The guys are back with another episode of BLT Bets! This week, Zach Laing filled in for Liam as he, Tyler, and Baggedmilk discussed the wild results we saw in week one of the NFL season. There were some big upsets, one of which Zach nailed. Tyler also got salty when talking about losing out in his survivor pool in week one. After that, the guys looked ahead to week two of the season which features more big spreads than week one did. Are the books over reacting to anything? Tyler gave some thoughts on that. They also looked at the upcoming DFS slate. Baggedmilk has never played DFS for NFL football so Zach gave him some beginner tips to try and make some money this Sunday. They also spent some time talking about the Toronto Blue Jays, who are being carried by their pitching staff and the red-hot bat of Bo Bichette. They wrapped things up by putting together a little Pointsbet Canada same game parlay for tonight's game between the Jays and Rays. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

NFL Season Is Upon Us

8/31/2022
The NFL season is right around the corner, and the BLT Boys are ready to talk about it. On today's show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin lay out their season-long futures on what should be an exciting football season. Liam drops some heat by saying there will be a changing of the guard in the AFC West, which Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have dominated the last few years. Oddly enough, there were a bunch of future bets on the Chicago Bears, too, with Tyler thinking more optimistically about them and their quarterback than others may have. Liam has one future placed on a former Bears wide receiver who moved across the country to join the Super Bowl champions. If you have a futures bet on the NFL, or one that you already have locked in for week one, hit us up on our Twitter community page, "BLT Bets." Formula One returned from its summer break over the weekend with the Belgium Grand Prix. It was a strange race going into it because of all the grid penalties most of the star drivers took; however, one man took advantage of the situation, and his name is BaggedMilk. He spoke about the juicy bet he got on Max Verstappen to win the race, which paid out nicely. Then, he talked about his daily fantasy strategy and how he has mastered the art of Formula One daily betting. You can listen to all of this and more on episode 17 of BLT Bets. As always, the showed ended with a delicious BLT Sandwich. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Live Betting At Sports Game + Big Brother Odds

8/17/2022
BaggedMilk and Tyler are back from Toronto after a weekend of betting on the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto FC. While betting on the Blue Jays did not go as planned, they took Liam's betting advice for the game, which helped them walk away with a smile on their face at their first live soccer game. After talking about their time in Toronto, Tyler went in on the Blue Jays' recent run, talking about their chances of making the playoffs. Toronto are heavy favourites to make the playoffs but should you still believe in them? The guys looked at their upcoming schedule and other odds in the playoff run to determine if the juice was worth the squeeze. Also, on the show, the BLT Boys moved away from sports betting and looked at the Big Brother odds. Tyler quizzed BaggedMilk and Liam on who they thought the odds on favourite to win this season along with America's Favourite Houseguest. Tyler talked about when you should make your NFL bets and why it is silly to bet earlier. Then Liam gave some more soccer bets after going 2-1 on the last episode. Finally, they then finished the show with a MLS BLT Sandwich. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The Opening Five Innings & EPL Week One Preview

8/3/2022
Welcome back to another episode of BLT Bets with Baggedmilk, Liam and Tyler on the Nation Network of podcasts. Today, you're during the three of them in the middle of a Toronto Blue Jays game, so expect to hear some live updates throughout the show. Stick with baseball; Tyler had some thoughts on the MLB following Tuesday's trade deadline. The biggest name moved was Juan Soto, who the San Diego Padres acquired. Now with Soto in the lineup, Tyler likes the Padres to go the distance in the MLB playoffs and capture their first World Series title. He goes in-depth on why he's made this decision and also on what their path could look like in the postseason. Later on, in the show, Tyler also talks about betting on the first five innings of a game and which teams you should be looking out for. Now, onto a different sport; with most major European soccer leagues starting this weekend, Liam looked at a few of the lines. He laid out two English Premier League bets worth hitting along with one in the German Bundesliga. Liam then went on to talk about the contenders for the Premier League title. Finally, they closed out the show with another BLT sandwich. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Talking Blue Jays & NFL Futures

7/27/2022
Tyler Yaremchuk is back from his week away of golfing and soaking up the sun! Of course, we had to talk to him about the bets he made during his vacation. If you listened to last week's episode, you'd know that Tyler and his family made a bet on where the waitress was from. In today's episode, he explains why he thought the waitress was Romanian when she was South African. Also, the Toronto Blue Jays were the main point of discussion on the show. The Jays have been hot out of the MLB All-Star break, and the BLT boys have benefitted from that. BaggedMilk talked about the parlay he built for tonight's game against the St Louis Cardinals, and Tyler revealed his favourite parlay to make for the Jays. Tyler and BaggedMilk are heading to Toronto in a couple of weeks to watch a couple of Jays games and a Toronto FC game. With the recent signings of Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi, it is a perfect time to lay down your first MLS bet, which is exactly what Tyler did on the episode. To close the show, they briefly discussed some NFL Futures and gave their picks for the BLT Sandwich. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

NHL Division and the French Grand Prix

7/21/2022
No Tyler Yaremchuk on today's episode of BLT Bets, so we called up Zach Laing to join to talk about future bets on the NHL Divisions and Awards. Despite losing their starting goaltender and two top six forwards, the Colorado Avalanche come in at -165 to win the Central Divison, making them the most likely team to win a division in the NHL. With odds like that, Liam pitches the idea of placing your money on the 2018 Stanley Cup winners, the St Louis Blues. One significant move needs to happen for this to work, but there's a great case to believe in the Blues. The Pacific Division feels like Edmonton's to lose with Calgary and Vegas getting worse this summer. With that said, is +270 good enough odds to place money down, or should the LA Kings be more in the conversation? Then in the Eastern Conference, it is anybody's guess what happens in the 2023 season. The Detroit Red Wings, Ottawa Senators and Buffalo Sabres all got better in the Atlantic Division. Then over in the Metro, Columbus signed Johnny Gaudreau, the number one free agent on the market, and the Washington Capitals and New York Islanders got worse. They then closed the show by discussing Formula One and the NHL Awards. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

NHL Futures After Free Agency

7/15/2022
The BLT Bets boys are back after a week away from the gambling world. The NHL's silly season is in full swing, so there was only one topic Tyler, Liam and BaggedMilk could talk about today. NHL Free Agency got underway on Wednesday, with almost all the top players available now off the market. Johnny Gaudreau is a Blue Jacket, the Washington Capitals signed Darcy Kuemper, and the Detroit Red Wings locked in pretty much every good player on the market. With all those players now on new teams, how did they affect the NHL Futures odds board? Tyler, BaggedMilk and Liam dove into the future, betting rabbit hole to see what they could find. Tyler discussed the best value pick to win the Stanley Cup next spring. Many of the top contenders in the NHL got slightly worse; however, the one team Tyler values so highly signed a starting goaltender and potential 40-plus goal scorer. Despite those two significant signings, this team only comes in at +1500. After that, they talked about which teams could be a good long-shot bet to win the cup. Of course, we are in the midst of baseball season, and while the Blue Jays have been making us all suffer recently, there is some value to be found elsewhere. You can now find bets on who the next Blue Jays manager will be, which the guys discussed. Also, the MLB home run derby is right around the corner, and Tyler explains how to bet on it. NHL Futures & The British GP

6/29/2022
BaggedMilk has returned from his vacation out west and is ready to talk sports betting with his co-hosts, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin. On today's show, they opened the show by discussing their NHL Stanley Cup Finals bets. BaggedMilk came out on top after hitting his finals picks, but Liam couldn't watch after the Edmonton Oilers were eliminated. Towards the end of the show, Tyler and Liam fell down the futures rabbit hole going into a deep conversation about what the 2023 season could look like. Can the Vegas Golden Knights become an elite team again? Why are the Oilers and New York Rangers being so undervalued? Should the Colorado Avalanche be the favourites to win next season? In more hockey talk, they chatted about the upcoming draft in Montreal and next season's Hart Trophy winner. Stepping away from the ice and onto the track, BaggedMilk and Liam previewed the British Grand Prix this weekend. Liam is still a big believer in one particular driver, whilst BaggedMilk is going back to the most reliable on the grid. Finally, Tyler talked about the Toronto Blue Jays and gave some advice on how to bet on them. Then they closed out the show with a nice BLT Sandwich. Hosted on Acast. Ranking The Best Sports To Bet On

6/22/2022
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin are back at it with another episode of BLT Bets presented by PointsBet Canada. The Stanley Final is in full swing between the Colorado Avalanche and the Tampa Bay Lighting. After dominating the opening two games on the home ice, the Avalanche held a 2-0 series lead heading into the State of Florida. However, Tampa Bay took full advantage of being back on home ice to pull themselves back into the series, winning 6-2. Now, with a pivotal game four on the horizon, Tyler and Liam took a look at what the sportsbooks had to say. Can the Tampa Bay Lightning tie the series up at two? Can Playoff Palat continue his hot form? Does the over hit for a 4th game straight? They discussed all of that and more. They also dove into the Toronto Blue Jays, who have been struggling against the Chicago White Sox. The guys discussed the Jays' upcoming schedule and what player props they're looking at for the near future. To close out the show, Tyler and Liam revealed their top five sports to sports bet on. Head to the BLT Bets community page to get involved with the conversation and let them know your top five sports. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Betting on the Stanley Cup, Canadian Grand Prix and the US Open

6/15/2022
Episode nine is another edition of BLT Bets which is packed with sports betting talk from various sports. Right out of the gate, the Formula One talk begins with the fastest cars in motorsports heading to Montreal this weekend for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Ferrari's have been struggling massively lately, with their most recent disappointment coming last weekend in Baku. BaggedMilk and Liam talked about a juice way to capitalize on those woes. The Stanley Cup Final gets underway tonight in Colorado, with the Avalanche taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Colorado hasn't played in a Stanley Cup Final since 2001, when they beat the New Jersey Devils. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay is playing in their third straight finals. Despite being back-to-back champs, the Lightning head into this series as the underdogs. The guys advised where to bet on this series from a team perspective and then dove into the player props. Tyler then quickly discussed the US Open and where he's putting his money over the weekend. To close out the show, BaggedMilk announced he is black listing one of the Toronto Blue Jays pitchers after a terrible run of betting on him. Despite that player struggling, the Jays have been money lately, and there are plenty of other players to bet on, especially Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Hosted on Acast. A Variety Of Sports

6/8/2022
There was no shortage of sports talk on episode eight of BLT Bets! BaggedMilk was back on the show today with Tyler and Liam, and the three of them dove into from hockey to European soccer. The Stanley Cup playoffs are where they began, and now with the Edmonton Oilers official out, they reminisce on the bets they loved to hit during the Oilers playoff run. After that, they quickly dove into how they think the Tampa Bay and New York series will end and then also who they would pick to win the Conn Smythe. The NBA Finals get going again tonight, with game three set in Boston. With the series tied up at 1-1, there's still plenty to play for as the Celtics are hunting for their first championship since 2008 and the Warriors since 2018. Liam is our token NBA fan, so he talked about a handful of picks he liked heading into tonight's action. The Canadian Open gets going this weekend. Tyler dove into the different ways to bet on golf and what he'll be putting his money on. Finally, they closed out the show with some Formula One talk about the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this weekend, and some soccer picks from a few international games this week. Hosted on Acast. Onto the NHL Conference Finals

5/31/2022
Welcome back to another episode of BLT Bets! Today’s edition is more of a ZLT Bets, as Zach Laing subbed in for BaggedMilk on episode seven. Nonetheless, there was more than enough to talk about! The boys dove right in head first taking a look at some of the outright odds for the Stanley Cup, as well as some Conn Smythe odds as well. How about Igor Shesterkin? Andrei Vasilevkiy? Or what about Leon Draisaitl?! We jumped into the Edmonton Oilers series against the Colorado Avalance, then the Tampa Bay Lightning series against the New York Rangers. The vibes are good about the Oilers series with the boys going heavy on some prop bets. How about Leon Draisaitl to score a point at +375? Those are some tasty odds to say the least. When it came to the Lightning series, well… things had a different feel. There’s no doubt this one is going to be a tight one with two of the best goaltenders in the world going head to head. And so, the choices around the prop bets were on the thin side. Each of Zach, Liam and Tyler tailed a small prop or two, and there was some love on the Lightning to win the series in six games, with those odds sitting at a nice +360. Hosted on Acast. Closing Out Round Two

5/25/2022
There was no B on BLT Bets today, so the L and T carry the load as they preview the rest of the second round. The Battle of Alberta is now favouring the Edmonton Oilers, who took a 3-1 lead in the series after beating the Calgary Flames 5-3 last night. Does the series end at five or move back to Rogers Place for game six? Liam and Tyler discussed where they have been winning money in the series and advised where you should place some bets. They then talked about the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes series. Liam gave away his “secret” for this matchup and what he’s won money on. The two of them also predicted how the series would finish up. Quickly, they discussed the Colorado Avalanche and St Louis Blues matchup. Liam thinks the series is over, but Tyler hopes it goes a few more games to help out a couple of his future picks. Lastly, the Tampa Bay and Florida series is over, but the boys revealed how their future picks went in that series. You can hear all of that and more on episode six of BLT Bets. Previewing Round Two of The Stanley Cup Playoffs

5/16/2022
Round one of the NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs is in the bag, so it's time to preview the second round. Zach Laing made his BLT Bets debut to help dive into the four second round matchups. Before they jumped into those matchups, the four of them reviewed their first-round future bets from a few episodes ago. Liam did well hitting big on some player props in the Edmonton Oilers series. However, the luck did not rub off well on BaggedMilk. In the second round, we'll see the Colorado Avalanche vs St Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers vs. Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers vs the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Carolina Hurricanes versus the New York Rangers. The four guys go deep into each series, talking about outright winners, how long the series goes, and player props. Zach brought up a fantastic four series parlay towards the end of the episode, which was juicy. Look out for Wednesday's episode BLT Bets when BaggedMilk, Liam and Tyler talk about some NFL Future bets and the upcoming Formula One Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday. An extra juicy BLT sandwich

5/11/2022
Well, to say it has been a tough past few days for the BLT Boys would be an understatement. BaggedMilk, Liam, and Tyler relived the bets they have placed on the Edmonton Oilers the last couple of games, and it has been a struggle, especially in game three versus the Los Angeles Kings. After feeling bad for themselves, they dove into what has been working for them so far this postseason. Tyler brought up the over-under stats and explained why that line has been successful. They also reviewed the series outright winner odds. The guys discussed which underdog team they could see coming out on top. Could it be Tampa Bay? Perhaps the Edmonton Oilers? Or maybe even the Washington Capitals. BaggedMilk and Liam talked about the Miami Grand Prix and what went good and bad for them. The next race is not for a couple more weeks, but a couple of bets already look juicy. To end the show, BaggedMilk, Liam and Tyler built up a GREASY BLT Sandwich, which pays out at over +600 on most sportsbooks. If you are new to the show, please leave us a review to tell us how we are doing. Then do not forget to subscribe so that you never miss an episode. Hosted on Acast. “-3000?! That’s disrespectful”

5/5/2022
The boys are back with another episode of BLT Bets, presented by PointsBet Canada. The Stanley Cup playoffs are now in full swing, and the guys have been cashing in their tickets. BaggedMilk had a big night at the Edmonton Oilers LA Kings game last night, and Liam revealed the playoff prop bet that he's loved hitting in the early days. They then dove into some of the bets they like on tonight's NHL slate with four games on the schedule. Will the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers bounce back? Are the Colorado Avalanche going to stomp the Nashville Predators again? Is the under a lock in the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars matchup? BLT Bets gave their take on what will happen and where their money is going. They also talked about the current NHL series winners' odds, and one of them might be the most disrespectful line ever. Finally, they rounded out the show with some Formula One talk. Liam goes over what bets you can make on the sport and what he likes to hit on a race weekend.
