Sam Bass was an outlaw that ran with a couple gangs from 1876-1878. He was part of the biggest train robbery in United States history that netted him and his gang $60,000 which is equivalent to about $1.8 million today. His run as an outlaw was short, but he definitely secured his name in the American West outlaw lore. Sonny Barger is perhaps the most famous member of the Hells Angels MC. He founded the Oakland Chapter in 1957 which later became the club headquarters. He is responsible for the club's expansion out of California into the rest of the U.S. and internationally. Involved in numerous crimes as well as writing books, and consulting on movie sets, he lived and breathed Hells Angels up until the day he died. 3801 Lancaster Ave. in Philadelphia was the scene of horror. Dr. Kermit Gosnell ran an abortion mill from his clinic there catering to mostly women in poverty. Gosnell would perform late term abortions for nearly 40 years, with some of the babies born alive before he snipped the back of their necks with scissors. March 16th, 2021, 21 year old Robert Long opened fire in three different massage parlors in Atlanta, Georgia. Claiming he was fueled by sexual addiction and wanting to rid the world of those temptations, he went to spas he previously had paid for sex and killed 8 and injured 1 other. Although he claimed it wasn't a racist attack, the media ran with that narrative at a time when Covid-19 was causing resentment against the Asian community. December 14th, 2012, 20 year old Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother at their Newtown, Connecticut home and then drove to the nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School where he shot his way into the school. From 9:35 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Lanza shot and killed 20 children all between the ages of 6-7 and 6 staff members. Paul Castellano became boss of the Gambino Family in 1976 after Carlo Gambino died. Thinking that the family would benefit from Castellano's involvement in white collar crime, Gambino promoted Paul instead of underboss Aniello Dellacroce. This caused a rift in the family and in 1985 it all came to a head as John Gotti, a Dellacroce loyalist took his chance and eliminated Castellano to grab the reigns for himself.
