Dr Dianne Rodger is an anthropologist and targets her field of research in the importance of Hip-Hop culture. Recently, Dianne has written a book fo rthe 33 1/3 series on the Hilltop Hoods album - The Calling. I was fortunate enough to be one of the participants in her interviews that went into this publication and it was a great opportunity to reminisce on The Calling and allow it to bring back such an amazing nostalgic feeling. Johnny worked his way into a professional boxing career before succumbing to the allure of an outlaw bikie club. The same way he worked his way up the boxing ranks, he worked himself up the ranks in the club to the position of Sgt at Arms. This journey saw him involved in the unfortunate incident that left one man deceased and himself in prison for the next 8 years. Johnny speaks openly and honestly about his life, the effects his jail time has had on others and what he endeavours to do in his future. I have little doubt Johnny is on the right path of change.
