Well it happens sometimes, when I do an interview with someone, the hour flys by and we don't even come close to finishing the hockey journey of the individual. I can't wait to share my next guest, Blake Sloan's hockey journey, because it is truly remarkable. Let me quickly summarize it in a couple sentences. Broken ankle, broken face, high school championship, NCAA National Champion, Stanley Cup Champion, a Europe Professional League Championship, and was on the bench when one of his Michigan teammates introduced the world to the now famous, the original Michigan move and lacrosse style goal. I'm super excited to have my next guest, Dan Woog on the Hockey Journey Podcast. I've had the opportunity to wear a letter at different times throughout my career, being an assistant or captain of a team, but when I tried to remember if I had any instruction those first couple of times, on how to be a captain or leader of a team, I couldn't find a single recollection of anyone saying, "these are the job requirements to be one of the leaders on this team."
