Ep 116: Jason Feairheller- Why The T-Step Is An Effective Strategy For Changing Direction

3/31/2023
Ep 116: Jason Feairheller- Why The T-Step Is An Effective Strategy For Changing Direction I recently made a post asking if turning the foot out is an effective strategy for changing direction. To give you some more context the video is from this year’s NFL Combine and features Christian Gonzalez, a cornerback from Oregon performing the W Drill. In this drill Christian backpedals straight back and on a cue he sprints forward at a slight angle. In the video I made a point to show the strategy Christian uses to make this transition from backward to forward, and in the video he performs a T step or turns his foot to the side to stop.I said this was a good strategy, but about half of the comments I got said it wasn’t so I just want to go into a little more detail about why this is the most effective way to make this transition. https://www.instagram.com/jasonfeairheller/ https://www.instagram.com/speedandpowerpodcast/ Checkout my Multidirectional Plyometric Course: https://www.multidirectionalpower.com/copy-of-home
