The One House Truth That Set Me Free

3/22/2024
Your house is worthless if it’s not helping you magnify your relationships. If you don't love being at home, your house is moving you away from your most important life goal: LOVING JOYFULLY. I’ve mastered this— we moved into a 288-square-foot tiny house. That’s two adults, and three children, living in a small, shared space for 2 years now. I credit all our toy-related sanity to the 3 techniques I'm teaching in my BRAND NEW COURSE The Busy Mom's Guide to Stop Toy Clutter. This new course will teach you how to take easy steps toward loving being at home. This is my signature process for turning your overwhelming, shared play space into something that works for you and knows you well enough that it could order your favorite brand of chocolate from Thrive. And, I know you're going to LOVE it. Find the "Stop the Toy Clutter" course HERE www.carlythornock.com

1000 Hours Outside with Ginny Yurich

10/26/2023
Ginny, along with her husband Josh, are the proud parents of five children ages 12 and under, residing in Southeast Michigan. Throughout their journey of parenthood, they consistently observed city, county, and state parks, as well as trails, campsites, and natural landscapes in general, being nearly devoid of children most of the time. About five years ago, they embarked on a simple but thought-provoking question: "Why is this the case?" With an abundance of natural beauty surrounding them, they found it counterintuitive that these outdoor spaces remained empty. With the question of "why" still unanswered, Ginny and Josh conducted research and discovered that encouraging children to spend 4-6 hours outdoors in a day was considered an ideal amount of time. Initially, this seemed excessive, especially given that most children's activities typically last an hour or less, such as library programs. However, they decided to give it a try. The results were remarkable. Ginny, Josh, and their children haven't looked back. Their most memorable family moments, and Ginny's most successful moments as a mother, consistently revolve around these fully immersive nature days. Over time, they have uncovered a multitude of benefits stemming from these wonderful outdoor experiences. Purchase Ginny's newest book HERE!
