A missing fisherman's boat was found Tuesday. The boat of missing fisherman Jeff Kale of Clover SC was found today off the North Carolina coast just hours after the United States Coast Guard called off the search. Kale went missing on Saturday, and a widespread search was conducted all of Sunday and Monday with no results. Oak Island police said efforts to find Kale using cellphone location data were attempted but were not successful. In this video I discuss the problem I am having with the Minn Kota trolling motor on my Lund boat. The Minn Kota Ulterra finally gave me a problem. If you have ever had any problems with the Minn Kota Ulterra please let me know! This trolling motor problem is with the auto deploy and auto stow function on the Ulterra trolling motor. When the Ulterra motor shuts down the motor will not deply and will not stow. There is not easy way to manually stow an Ulterra trolling motor. Destin Fox recently caught a 94 pound blue catfish in Lake Wateree in South Carolina. The is a new unofficial lake record catfish for Lake Wateree, and the biggest that has eve been caught in the Catawba Wateree River basin. While the state record catfish from South Carolina is over ten pounds larger, this record catfish is a rare specimen anywhere in the Carolinas and a world class catfish anywhere in America. Destin Fox and Ryan Williams were fishing on Lake Wateree when 15 tear-old Fox caught the 94-pound blue catfish. A potential new Tennessee state record blue catfish has just been caught on the Cumberland River in Tennessee. Micka Burkhart is the angler who caught the giant catfish. Coincidentally, he hold the current Tennessee state record for a blue catfish. State record catfish are rare. Prior to last year the Tennessee record blue catfish stood for many years. It is always amazing when an angler breaks his own record. It is very rare that a fisherman breaks his own record. Captain Greg McCoy piloting the Sensation experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows during Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament this weekend. McCoy and crew landed a 619.4 pound blue marlin during the Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament Saturday after a six hour battle that lasted into the night. Upon arrival at the dock a crowd cheered as the largest blue marlin of the tournament was hoisted onto the scales. The glory was short lived as it was made clear that the weight was under review due to a possible "Rule 23 violation." In the end, the crew ended up losing over $3 million dollars because the blue marlin had been bitten by a shark and may have been dead before it was landed.
