Recognising the unwavering demand for his vegan fried chicken, Adam transformed the restaurant into a factory to deliver his creations directly to customers. Partnering with Matthew Glover, they embarked on a journey to build an activist Vegan brand with a mission to make a real impact. By embracing change, and with the support of his team, Adam’s grit and determination enabled him to learn on the job and build a brilliant company in an industry he knew nothing about when he started out.

Psalt works within retail to increase the uptake of talent from different backgrounds and under-represented communities. Sam shared anecdotes from the Add Psalt incubator programme which he’s co-founded for black-owned brands, and hearing his perspective of how any size business can genuinely embrace diversity was fantastic to learn from.
