2024 is the 25th anniversary of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace! To celebrate, Lucasfilm is rereleasing the beloved film in theaters for Star Wars day on May 4th. With that in mind, we're ranking the definitive tier list of the best (and the worst) of the gargantuans of merchandise released in 1999—from the Pepsi machine to the Jar Jar tongue candy and action figures galore.

Our journey into the New Jedi Order continues this week as we discuss Michael A. Stackpole's Dark Tide Duology. Comprised of Dark Tide: Onslaught and Dark Tide: Ruin, books 2 and 3 of the NJO explores heartwarming Jedi duos, attempting diplomacy with alien invaders hell-bent on conquest and torture, a revamped Rogue Squadron featuring fan-favorite Gavin Darklighter and young gun Jaina Solo, and of course Youtini mascot CORRAN HORN!
