The family celebrates Mother's Day by discussing Mean Moms in the animal kingdom. The kids share about storks and the many marsupials that Penn and Bella define as super mean moms. Sophia talks about the challenges of high school applications while Susan shares about bonding with Gary. Penn and Bella describe Stuffyland--the world of their stuffed animals when no one is around. Every stuffy that enters the house must go through the process of getting introduced to Stuffyland and every stuffy that leaves the house (to go to Goodwill) has a process of letting go which usually involves an accidental stuffy death or an illness. From a parent's standpoint it is fascinating to sit down and learn how important stuffed animals are to them and that each has an individual personality and a job and even an Instagram account. They share about the stuffyland government and the voting system. This episode had the whole family laughing to tears. Susan and Brandy tell twin stories and share how Penn and Bella spoke in their own language as babies. The family closes with apples, peanut butter, giggles and crunching. The Next Family (Susan, Brandy, Sophia, Penn and Bella) discuss as a family this week's theme--FUN.
