Episode 5 of "From Highbury to the Grove" features a man the Independent ranks amongst the top ten stand-up comedians in the UK, but he sat down with us today to talk about his long and sordid history as part of the Gooner Family. The Great Ian Stone joined us, in another LIVE version of HTTG emanating from the North Bank of Highbury Stadium. For the first time in almost two decades, Arsenal enter the final stretch of the league at the top. Mike returns to the pod and is joined by Aston. In Part 3, Aston makes a cancellable analogy about Tottenham Hotspur and Antonio Conte, we wax poetic about Bukayo Saka, the Crystal Palace game, and discuss Leeds and our upcoming run-in. The pod ends with Mike and Aston getting into some arguments about Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, arguments that obviously Mike is right about cuz he wrote this description.

It's a 2-part show! In part 1, Mike and Aston covered the weekend's game where the Foxes were Powerless at the King Power to stop The top-of-the-table Arsenal in a game that felt much more of a 3-0 than a 1-0 - perhaps because once again PGMOL and VAR decided to again make us do things the hard way. We discussed the performance, the impact on the title run, in so much exquisite detail that we both completely forgot to even talk about the actual goal.
