Downhill Fast

This episode kicks off with Tamara being very proud for returning an amazon purchase for the first time ever. To be fair it was a purchase bought in desperation after cleaning up puppy poop on a white carpet. Tamara wrapped up her weekend by cleaning and officially moving out of her old apartment. Rheannon's excitement for the week was buying a new car! The big question has been to keep the fancy gold rims that the car came with or to switch to a more boring color. Tamara tends to air on the side of less fancy, but the gold rims are growing on Rheannon and most of her family. Rheannon shares about her anxiety of watching someone climb a building live on Netflix. Tamara hasn't watched it yet, but is interested in watching it. It launches into a discussion about sports and television and the role that the audience plays in what is expected from our sports heroes.

This week Tamara kicks off the episode with stories from her very productive weekend moving. Rheannon is still sad that Tamara hasn't up her lighting game to include a palm tree. Tamara was very thankful for movers to help, and lucky that it didn't go down hill fast. Rheannon had an amazing weekend skiing with her toddler. She is learning to full send it and really taking after Rheannon. Now sleeping in the hotel was chaotic and not a lot of sleep happening. This week's episode kicks off talking with how Christmas presents went over with presents for the kids. Rheannon's oldest daughter did not love the unicorn that she got. It kept her awake one night and that girl does not have room for a toy that ruins her sleep. Tamara had a very relaxing Christmas and New Years. Rheannon had some helpers getting skies ready for the first ski of the season. Helping her nieces and nephew be the next generation to love a fresh wax. In a slow and unexciting fashion Tamara has won the Fantasy Football League. Rheannon is now committed to making a trophy for the winners. Tamara had fun setting some intentions for the New Year, and Rheannon has some administrative tips to help her be successful. The episode wraps up with a deep dive in the TV show Pluribus. This year Rheannon is new to the candy cane game. Tamara is really leaning into the mini candy canes. There is a thing of too much sugar for the kids in her life, and what really is the appropriate amount of sugar before bed. After saying no one too many times, Tamara has bought a coin to flip instead. Now a coin will say no instead of Tamara having to say no. Rheannon thinks that she should invest in a weighted coin that always says no. Rheannon is sad that ski season is delayed, and the whole family is missing the sun at this point. Tamara has been enjoying good food living in Seattle. Rheannon ends the podcast with her concerns about facial hair that she os convinced smells like hot dogs. Let's just say that whether or not it is smoke and mirrors this episode goes downhill fast.

This week's episode kicks off with Tamara sharing her fun weekend with family eating a Thanksgiving dinner and visiting her Great-Aunt. Then Rheannon shares the trials and stress of buying a new vehicle. Tamara is puzzled by the riddle and is sad she can't solve it. Not everyone wants to drive a van it seems. Rheannon is not having fun with the adulting of buying a car. Birthday fun was underway with cake decorating for Rheannon's youngest daughter. Rheannon took her oldest to help pick out a birthday present for the youngest and of course landed on a rainbow chicken. The episode wraps up with a review of recent shows and movies we have watched. The big question of how scary Frankenstein is, but since neither of us have seen it is only speculation.

Tamara finally found geoduck to try and cook a chowder. It did not go as planned, but the flavor wasn't that back. Now it was not a true chowder, but at least the bet was settled. Rheannon had her own cooking mishap this week. Tamara came to visit Rheannon and did her best to lend a helping hand. The kids in matching pj's were very impressive, but Rheannon was less impressed with Tamara's choice of clothes dressing the kids in. Rheannon's toddler got attached to a pumpkin while at the store, so pumpkins were bought to carve. However, when we went to carve them the toddler just wanted to color on them. How long will the pumpkin last? Will the coloring continue until the pumpkin rots? Who knows, but it will definitely go downhill fast.

Episode kicks off with a movie review and spoilers for Honey Don't. Rheannon got fooled by some bad information off of TikTok that did not help for Fantasy Football. Tamara did her best to explain the rules to Bunko, but the biggest take away though is that Tamara won the most games when she played with her friends. Rheannon has been challenged to read a book since she picked a bad movie to watch. Tamara thinks they should watch a scary movie since it is October, but Rheannon thinks that will go down hill in not a fun way.

This episode kicks off with Tamara returning from her adventures in Europe. Traveling with family in the U.K. started off with a day trip to the Edinburgh Castle including a train ride and so many sheep. Highlights included tea at Kensington Palace and seeing Hades Town. Tamara did manage to give Rheannon some anxiety from the other side of the world when Tamara said she was trying to say hi to a famous person. Although there were no photos for proof, Tamara did make a friend in the process. Having fun travel seeing friends and going to an amusement park, and Tamara was sure to make time for snacks. Although the best meal of the whole trip was a homemade Sunday Roast while in Ireland. Rheannon has a very exciting weekend planned to celebrate her anniversary. She does have to take down part of her new fence, but it is a very exciting house project. Hopefully, it goes smoothly and not down hill fast.

This episode kicks off with Tamara sharing stories from am epic wedding reception. Gotta love karaoke when it seems all your friends are amazing singings. Later there is a pickle that gets passed around by strangers to share. Tamara is gearing up for a trip to Europe and Rheannon is helping her with some travel logistics. Rheannon is also very excited for the upcoming draft. Tamara will need to get up at 4 am to join the draft live from Europe, what could possible go wrong. It will likely go downhill fast.

This week's episode kicks off with the very exciting news that Rheannon's youngest, now nick-named Bam Bam, has started crawling. It is a whole new world with now both kids being mobile in Rheannon's house. Tamara finds herself making the rules while baby-sitting, and it getting used to being the one to make and enforce rules. Tamara went swimming with three kids, and at one point was racing two of the older kids. Although she warned the kids to avoid the other people in the pool. It mostly worked out, but Tamara was too busy beating the two kids swimming that she isn't exactly sure. Rheannon has made a mistake of buying too many carrots at the store, and we are hearing in real time just how her wife is planning on cooking all those carrots. Both Tamara and Rheannon think they will win at the driving range. They will have to go to Top Golf to settle this. It will surely go downhill fast, much like this episode.

This episode kicks off in the middle of a laundry detergent catastrophe. Someone, perhaps a cat, knocked over a Costco size container that then broke and spilled on the floor. Let's just say the noises coming from the other room really emphasize that someone was going through it having to clean it up. Tamara was just getting back from spending the night and day at the Renaissance Faire. Throwing axes and having the best time! Rheannon this year did approve of her outfit and effort more this year than last year. Tamara did not complete her homework of starting a new show, but she did at least get started. Rheannon is on board being a wing woman as Tamara get's into golfing and wondering if that is a way to meet guys. Let's just say much like this episode it will probably go downhill fast.

This week's episode kicks off with a taste test of some cider from Tamara's Montana road trip. Back podcasting in person means that tonight Rheannon and Tamara got to go on an adventure to pick up a new purchase. Well new to Rheannon at least that will help her on her trip to the coast. Tamara got to see friends on her road trip, and then got to Missoula a few hours before her friend flew in for the music festival. Tamara went to a movie and a driving range to really enjoy a summer day in Missoula. Rheannon has some questions as she is preparing for a trip to the ocean. Tamara is perhaps a little more realistic on how many clams and crabs Rheannon and her fam will catch. Even if it goes downhill it will still be a lot of good memories and stories for the pod!

This week's episode kicks off with Tamara's Mom entering the chat. Well more specifically reading out loud the group text while Tamara was driving. It could have gone downhill fast, but luckily everyone found it hilarious. Rheannon's family had friendly competition of who could make the best tri-tip. Although no formal voting, there was a clear favorite. After multiple days of intense porch building Rheannon was finally able to enjoy the newly constructed porch with family. Tamara miscalculates making sandwiches for her niece and nephew and it was way too much PB&. Precautions were taken to protect the clothes though. Warning this episode does have spoilers for the Last of Us and Wheel of Time. Rheannon and Tamara enjoy a TV corner to nerd out a little bit, and it goes downhill fast.

This week's episode kicks off with a downhill fast story that involves a small mishap with the baby. It should be said that no baby was hurt, and really a baby was only startled. Poor Rheannon lost track of who all was in the bed, and perhaps mistook a baby in a bouncer for a cat. Tamara tagged along when her brother and niece were getting hair cuts at Great Clips. It maybe wasn't a great hair cut, but it was worth the $20. Tamara and Rheannon like the tv show The Last of Us for different reasons, but they agree that it is filmed beautifully. Tamara makes a birthday suggestion of having mustaches to go along with the cowboy hats. The mustaches reminded Tamara about a time that she went white water rafting, and much like this episode it goes downhill fast.

This episode kicks off with Tamara's fail at "Squid Ink" pasta. It was not good, but new cooking attempt was made and squid was eaten. Although, it was a very smelly cooking process. Rheannon is weighing her options to bake a birthday cake or buying a birthday cake. Tamara supports both options, but at the end of the day what brings the most joy is the most important. Rheannon has been reading a story to her toddler about potty training, and it really came to fruition downhill fast. Traffic at 10 PM is somehow more aggressive than normal rush hour traffic, and Tamara was more tired for it. The episode closes with a tv corner, and let's just say long story long it goes downhill.

This weeks episode kicks off with a couple orange drinks and compliments for Rheannon. She both has adorable children and is building an epic play structure. Rheannon officially loses her first workout challenge and Tamara is excited to dish up the next cooking challenge. Rheannon puts a timeline on Tamara having to cook her homemade squid pasta. Tamara tried doing some energy work and is feeling very tired. Rheannon has a lot of doubts about the whole thing. The new treadmill ended up caused some problems for Rheannon, and let's just say that it went downhill fast.

Rheannon is upgrading the office, and the toddler is loving drawing on the chalk wall. However, the toddler now thinks that she can draw on all surfaces. Tamara enjoyed exploring a Chef Store. Some good finds, but also she bought so many energy drinks. Tamara finally made good on her workout challenge lost and made a kale salad. Rheannon has taught her daughter a new trick in the kitchen for when she helps cook. Instead of saying no to everything, as a two year old do, Rheannon has taught her daughter to say yes chef when they are cooking together. Tamara was stuck in line waiting for lemonade, while too many people were taking shots. Fun times as a fundraiser could have gone downhill fast.

Tamara is very excited about her new lamp, even if Rheannon thinks it is over engineered. John makes an appearance on the pod, and like a good dog doesn't bark but hangs out. Tamara lost a week of the workout challenge, so Rheannon decides her cooking challenge for the next week. Tamara is enjoying her canned boba drink, but is not sure what types of balls are in the boba. Rheannon has been working hard on building a new fence with new tools and a laser level. Probably should have used some safety goggles, but luckily no serious injuries. Rheannon does her best to motivate Tamara in the workout challenge by outlining what her cooking challenge will be if she looses again. Rheannon is fighting for her life with two kids adjusting to day lights saving.
