Her husband of 20 years, Nikhil, had suffered from undiagnosed bipolar disorder for two decades, leading to massive devastation emotionally, mentally, and financially. After helping to save his life and their marriage, Shelly launched a healthcare company (GIOSTAR* Chicago) and discovered the fulfillment gained from diminishing the pain of others. After becoming suicidal, and ultimately getting diagnosed at the age of 40, Nikhil Torsekar began a journey of introspection and healing, and is now a devoted husband, dedicated parent, and thriving professional. He runs The Untether Your Life Podcast, serves as Director of Marketing for GIOSTAR Chicago, and is a tireless mental health advocate. His journey of discovery and healing through higher states of consciousness led he and his wife Shelly to incorporate Mindvalley’s personal growth platform into their own lives.
