SB 14 - Frizzle Fry by Primus

4/28/2024
I was born in the year 1990, so it's a pretty important year for me. For people who were already thinking beings at the time, it was important for plenty of other reasons, like the Hubble space telescope launch, Nelson Mandela's release, the invasion of Panama, and the release of the first studio album by alt/experimental/funk band Primus, Frizzle Fry. Jeremy is always a joy to have around for a music chat, big love to the homie, find him and his plethora of projects here: https://linktr.ee/jigglz Hit us up on our socials here: https://linktr.ee/JuggaloJudgment, or get at one of us directly on Twitter @MikeSpohnTheSEJ and @Schmeev, OR hit up Mike on Instagram @StraightEdgeJuggalo. SB 11 - Kezia by Protest The Hero

4/7/2024
This year I've found myself on the opposite end of the Schmeevburger experience, as I have returning guests bringing albums to me that I've never heard before! This week we'll be traveling back to hear how a band feels about the increasing influence of the religious right in American politics through the mid 2000s with Protest The Hero's concept album Kezia. Schmeev’s AXEcellent Adventure - Alla Xul Elu, Mauxuleum

11/19/2023
With the church up and running the Xul boys have been doing so much work in the community! I sure hope nothing happens in the very beginning of Mauxuleum to derail that! Mike, please tell us all about Ma's Linoleum and why AXE got Monoxide on a track for a singing chorus. Schmeev’s AXEcellent Adventure - Alla Xul Elu, Church Of Xul

10/29/2023
We're goin' to church! Crack open your bibles and feast upon the nut within as we go on a little hike to see how these AXE boys handle their first EP with this Lee Carver guy! In 2019, Majik Ninja Entertainment was ready to release one of their biggest albums to date in Twiztid's Generation Nightmare. But on that very same day, Ninjas and Xuligans were also treated to a new project from the blasphemous trio of Alla Xul Elu. With their style of dark, sacrilegious rap, the group would continue to flesh out their lore, with Lee Carver well establishing his presence as a natural fit. How does Schmeev feel about this EP? Find out today as he enters... Church Of Xul. Schmeev’s AXEcellent Adventure - Alla Xul Elu, The Almighty

10/15/2023
We've arrived at an album that I've at least gotten one prior listen to! On VINYL no less! We finally get an introduction to Elu after 3 albums of him being in the name, and who knows how the dynamic will change? In 2018, Monoxide of Twiztid said that at that year's Gathering Of The Juggalos, Majik Ninja Entertainment would be represented. Speculation ran rampant as, to the knowledge of fans, the "beef" between Psychopathic and MNE was still going strong. Mere weeks after The Gathering ended, it was revealed that Alla Xul Elu, who had performed at GOTJ, were on Majik Ninja and would be releasing their newest LP in September. This time around, the group added new member Lee Carver into the fray, and now the trio were set to "re-debut" to a whole new audience of the underground with MNE's backing. How does this fare for group? How does Schmeev feel about it? Find out today as he does his deep dive into... The Almighty. Hit us up on our socials here: https://linktr.ee/JuggaloJudgment, or get at one of us directly on Twitter @MikeSpohnTheSEJ and @Schmeev, OR hit up Mike on Instagram @StraightEdgeJuggalo. Schmeev’s AXEcellent Adventure - Alla Xul Elu, Necronomichron Vol. 1

9/24/2023
3 episodes in and we're already remaking classic films. Where many would paint this as a group out of ideas, I see it as a group showing bravado and saying "FUCK YOU RAIMI, JUST WAIT TILL WE GET TO SPIDERMAN" Who loves weed? You? You? How about you? Well Alla Xul Elu loves weed. They love weed so much they decided to make an EP about it. It almost feels like you can consider yourself and underground rap artist if you don't, but it DOES help when you have a cool concept around it. Like The Wizard Of Oz or something. I wonder if anyone's done that before... Anyways, A.X.E. took inspiration from Evil Dead and came up with Necronomichron. How does Schmeev handle all this dark and dank goodness? Find out today! Hit us up on our socials here: https://linktr.ee/JuggaloJudgment, or get at one of us directly on Twitter @MikeSpohnTheSEJ and @Schmeev, OR hit up Mike on Instagram @StraightEdgeJuggalo. Schmeev’s AXEcellent Adventure - Alla Xul Elu, Sci Co

9/10/2023
Wow I made it a whole 2 albums on my own, can you believe it?? Things are going well as we dive into a bit of an expansion of the Allaverse, meeting some new characters and giving them their own tracks here and there. Alla Xul Elu released their sophomore album, Sci-Co Volume 1, just 8 months after their debut, on October 17, 2015. Where Head of Horns was an introduction to Billy Obey and Joe Black’s aesthetic and sound, Sci-Co Volume 1 was a very experimental album featuring a variety of styles, topics and a number of guest performers. The title, “Sci-Co” comes from Alla Xul Elu’s home in Scioto County, OH. The idea was to include guest appearances from other musicians from the Scioto County area but expanded to include everyone from Dark Half’s Geno Cultshit to Mastamind of Natas. The resulting record is a mix of upbeat party songs, bleak horrorcore, nostalgic odes to childhood in the 1990s and boastful battle raps. Schmeev’s AXEcellent Adventure - Alla Xul Elu, Head Of Horns

8/27/2023
In the darkest hour when content is slightly less frequent than usual, one hero arises to drop some some low effort stuff to tide you over until the regular schedule resumes. Schmeev will be taking a jaunt through the works of these AXE guys over the coming however long it takes to get through 7-8 albums! Billy Obey and Joe Black, known collectively as Alla Xul Elu, released their debut album Head Of Horns in 2015 independently on their label Long Live Evil. With dark imagery over boom bap beats, the duo would start a proverbial reign of terror in the midwest, making a name for themselves in the underground. SB 10 - Play: The Guitar Album by Brad Paisley

4/23/2023
Alright, hear me out. I know country is a far cry from what our general audience is into, even for the Boonshot weirdos out there, but this isn't just ANY country album. Back in 2014, I went to a week long getaway with a bunch of amazing guitarists to enjoy clinics, jam sessions, all kinds of stuff. One of the people I met there later posted a partial cover of a song that I would have thought was from one of those guitarists who's famous only among guitarists, but no. It's none other than Brad Paisley, who I later came to understand is one hell of a musician. Today is about taking a journey through an album all about showcasing that ability, Brad Paisley's 2008 album, Play: The Guitar Album. Aaron is a real peach for joining me on this one, and you can find his show ICP w/We at www.icpwwe.com, check out Fukkfaace at https://fukkfaace.bandcamp.com, and watch him stream on twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/gristlemedia! SB 9 - You’re Awful, I Love You by Ludo

4/16/2023
Around 2008 I was working at a Sunoco, providing an upscale neighborhood with the official fuel of NASCAR, and from time to time a certain song would come on the radio. I couldn't look things up on a phone back then, and relied on writing what lyrics I could pick up and searching them later. That song was the big single from this album, which I quickly picked up and began listening to nearly nonstop. From peppy pop punk, to somber horror ballads, to whatever the fuck Go-Getter Greg is, I loved every minute, and now I'd like to share it with a friend, and also with all of you. So sit down, queue up Jim Henson's Labyrinth (1986) starring David Bowie, and join us on our adventure through Ludo's 2008 sophomore release You're Awful, I Love You. SB 8 - The Lion’s Roar by First Aid Kit

4/9/2023
I feel like these intros are gonna be a feature length film if this keeps up. ANYWAY back in 2012ish, I was actually out of school completely (I was wrong in this episode, I'm bad at memory), but sometime in that bunch of years, I went to an FYE to grab some random albums based on covers, names, what have you, and ended up with this fantastic folk album. With influences from classic Americana, country, and indie rock, we've got a recipe for some good vibes. Come hang out in the cabana with us while we have a listen to First Aid Kit's 2012 album, The Lion's Roar. SB 7 - Beta by The Robot Knights

4/2/2023
In the year 2017, times were...well, they were. In that hour of darkness and despair, when hope was nearly lost, a couple nerds in the month of june finally release to the world an album unlike any before it. Featuring songs about robots, knights, robots who are knights, and how fucking rad dinosaurs are, it gave the world a reason to keep going. At the very least, it gave me a reason to go out fighting to the last. Here we are now, taking a trip back to the undisclosed location of the Schmeevburger in Paradise Bar & Grille to have another look at The Robot Knights and their first and last full-length album, Beta. Ep. 97 - W.I.C.K.E.D. by Twiztid

1/1/2023
Twiztid made a bold choice for their last album, having guests on nearly every track. But they never make the same album twice, and so they set out to make a modern horror classic of them and them alone (ish). The JJ Boyz are here to listen to that end result, them and them alone (ish). Do Twiztid continue to improve as lyrical monsters while creating some truly sinister audio imagery? Is a lack of guests a benefit or a detriment to the full product? Is our guest a hater of some of the album's best tracks, but refuses to acknowledge that they're wrong? Find out the answers to these and more today as we get dark and... W.I.C.K.E.D. Much thanks to Blade for joining us for this episode. Always a blast to chat! Ep. 96 - Let ’Em Bleed: The Mixxtape, Vol. 3 by DJ Clay

12/18/2022
Hold on... 3? DJ Clay released 3 projects in a calendar year?!? Clay clearly has to make an impression with the Juggalos, so consistent music is a good way to do it. After a mediocre drop in the quality of the 2nd iteration, could Hatchet House's supreme cutmaster deliver strong in the 3rd outing? Do his labelmates learn from the 2nd volumes missteps and bring us some straight fire? Do we get a cover of one of our favorite songs we've ever heard by Schmeev's favorite artist that this show has ever covered? Ep. 95 - Mudface by Anybody Killa

12/4/2022
Anybody Killa is someone that we have trouble finding negative things to say about here. Dude is just overall really consistent, even if he created Road Fools. Well after a 2-year stint away from The Hatchet, the Hatchet WARRIOR makes his glorious return. But would the Juggalos welcome him back with open arms? Has he found more ways to talk about how he is Native American? And is it possible that Mike got the release timeline wrong for how we should have recorded episodes? (Find out next episode). Ep. 94 - God’s Hand by Axe Murder Boyz

11/20/2022
After Blood In, Blood Out, AMB took some time away from Psychopathic Records (because their contract was only for 1 album, remember?). In that time, they continued to hone their craft, both behind the mic and behind the scenes. Crafting their next masterpiece caught the attention of Violent J, who wanted to put them in the underground's public eye once again. But was the final product really the next big thing that the Juggalos needed? Does Otis improve as a rapper and a producer? Who is that mysterious 2nd voice on this album? And did we really need a 10-minute glorified skit? Find out the answers to these and more as we take a walk and hold... God's Hand. Ep. 93 - Tunnel Runners by Tunnel Runners

11/6/2022
Psychopathic Record is the label that runs beneath the streets. Hatchet House is the sub-label of the label that runs beneath the streets. A house is below the underneath of the streets. In a way, you could say it resides in the tunnels. And if you need to traverse those tunnels quickly, you could briskly walk through them. You could even run. Guys, idk what kind of description i'm trying to make for this. In 2008, Psychopathic decided to release a compilation of some heavy hitters in the underground. Lots of people we spoke with warned us of this album, but is it really all that bad? Find out today as we hit the underground and encounter... Tunnel Runners.
