I HATE the new year, new me trend. Why are you changing yourself, when it should be improving yourself and I know you are like Hannah, that's basically what it means but the reason so many NYD resolutions fail is because we change TOO much! From the anti-diets to not falling into the numbers trap, and other random talks, listen to our first ep of the year.

I will always remember the shaddeeeee when someone said their coaching was more than just mock interviews... mock interviews are one of the BEST ways of knowing how you will react in an interview! Of course, they aren't all you need to be doing but don't forget them, they may be that tool to helping your confidence with interview! And we should know, many of the queens who have done our mock interview panel charity sessions have taken their crowns home (as well as coaching and being prepared but progress is progress!)

This episode is all about using social media to your advantage, to use the features to talk about your journey and platform, for appearances, all of that!! It doesn't mean you need to get all the likes or anything like that, but more how you can promote what you want to do with the sash! There is no excuse about not being able to make a difference if all it takes is a few posts!

Today we discuss about the aftermath of pageantry with the negative vibes and fix claims, as well as how to deal with your feelings of lost after a pageant. For me, this is the ugly side of pageantry where someone needs to be blamed when someone doesn't do as well as one hoped. Of course there will be times where it could be true and we will never silence anyone's voice, but think before you angry type...

We got former Ms Galaxy International 2019 Beth on the podcast! Beth has been on the pageant scene since 2007, and has held many national titles such as Miss and Ms Galaxy UK, Miss Grand England as well as Miss International UK! After finishing her International reign, she turned to pageant coaching to be able to share the knowledge on! Ok so I recorded this a week ago and nearly did what I have been doing for the past month of just not uploading and not liking the episode, writers block is real y'all But we have had so much talk about the cost of pageants so I wanted to have a little chat about budgeting, how to reduce your costs with appearances and what no and just a general pageant chit chat!

A bit of a natter at the start but we break down the most asked questions in interview and how you can ace them!

Comparison is the thief of joy, and that is what you do when you start to compare yourself to other contestants and to the current winners. We talk about how to focus on you, and be the queen you want toe be, without trying to be someone else. We are SO sorry for the lack of episodes recently, summer holiday and illness has taken over! It's countdown to the pageant girl weekender in which I will be handing my UK's National Ms crown after an amazing year of being a queen. Self reflection is so important and I believe this is one of the tools that helped me win, I talk about how I planned my finalist and queen year, as well as the mental and physical prep before and after. We did an episode back in 2021 after placing second runner up so it's nice to come back and revisit! We want to know what YOU want on the podcast! In today's episode we talk about what we want you to know from a coaches view about what we do as a coach, this can also help if you aren't looking into coaching but want to approach how you are prepping for your pageant. As a pageant coach we get asked so many things or different expectations so I hope this episode answers some of it!
