We are not a food podcast, we swear. But... the MCG crew was sent a care package from our friends down under on the BoardGameBBQ podcast, complete with all sorts of Australian favorites. Join us for this longer than usual, and weirder than usual jaunt through board games, video games, random stories, and so many Aussie snacks. But really, we are not a food podcast.

The MCG gang gives updates on their latest projects and talks about how their summers ended. Matt gets some grief for some wedding apparel choices, Adam has to figure out the worst places to take the kids, and then they all determine the best tasting lays potato chips.

The MCG gang provides some brief updates on the status of Three Sisters and Motor City and looks ahead to what is next on the horizon, and then spends the majority of the time on the important stuff: Adam's whirlwind trip to Origins Game Fair, ranking Adam Sandler movies, and taste-testing Pringles.

The MCG crew discusses another successful KS campaign, while being transparent about what we are still learning. In addition, we share some great news about Durango being signed by a publisher we cannot name yet. After the business portion, a lively debate ensues as we talk appetizers, then Ben and Matt compete to see who knows the least grunge music.

The MCG crew welcomes in 2022 celebrating the delivery of Three Sisters to backers. We discuss surprises and educational moments along the way through this first project, as well as discuss our next project Motor City which launches in March. Adam has some world record dramatic pauses (which is not the best radio, he admits), Ben continues to argue that mini-cheesecakes are a cookie (they are not), and Matt is still super bad at geography. This blockbuster 90-minute podcast features the MCG team and our first special guest ever: Kevin Crowther. We open with some reflections on the tragedy in Oxford, which hit very close to home. Kevin discusses his game design classes he teaches at a local high school. Then we talk Three Sisters boats, and discuss a couple of games we like and one or two we didn't, as well as the point of vacations. We celebrate the holidays with an incredible "top 3" list of Christmas cookies. It might be our best top 3 ever. (For the record: Ben's top 3 cookies are not cookies.)

Matt reveals his complete disregard for geography, Adam talks pizza toppings, and Ben calls out Chili's for making corn on the cob that tastes like it was cooked in your armpit.
