After exiting his father's memories, Zeke gives the command to sterilize the Eldians. Breaking from his chains, Eren runs to Ymir and sees the memories of her life long ago. He discovers she was an orphaned and enslaved child who obtained the first titan power by accident and became the Eldian weapon of war. She died protecting King Fritz, who ordered her children to eat her flesh. Ymir lives on in the plane where the paths and wall titans are formed.
