Ola Volo is a Kazakh Canadian artist known for her folklore-inspired work and her depiction of strong women who sit at the centre of their own stories. Travelling to the UK earlier in the year she painted her first mural in the UK. A sassy queen of hearts in Brighton imbuing the spirit of the women of the city, Working with Enter gallery that visit also co-incided with her first print release with the gallery. Her new release is based on the mural she created when she was here last. Speaking to Art Related Noise she talks about the inspiration behind the mural as well as giving us an insight into her wider art practice.

Mr Cenz is an artist known for his large-scale freestyle murals and paintings. Often depicted high on the side of a building, the subjects peer out against a background of abstract swirls and colors. Taking influence from his background in graffiti the work is spontaneous and instinctive. The end result is a kind of futuristic ideal that peers out into the world around.

Mike Edwards is an artist known for his text based portraits. Images made up of words which create a double resonance within each painting. His neon work too has been an area which he has been developing. Using skull imagery in a pop art setting, they play to the concepts around ideas and the illuminated mind. Music also has clearly had an impact on his work. Playing the clubs of Camden in the 90’s he would balance his music with a fledgling art career in those early days.
