THIS JESUS THING WAS MINE-featuring Stephanie Van Epps

9/25/2023
Stephanie was a well rounded child that was involved in every activity imaginable. She loved to dance and act and had dreams of modeling in NY after she graduated. She was baptized into the Catholic church as a baby and was supported and loved by her Mother and Incredible Grandparents growing up. Her Mother had very high standards for her school education, the only acceptable grades were 90's and above. She would see her Father every other weekend and he would do her best to make it feel like home and entertain her while she was there. So how would a child in these circumstances decide at a young age that she was an atheist? What would cause her make a resolution to lose her virginity at only thirteen? Does this sound like a kid that would be placed in a psych ward repeatedly? A Kid that would have to be on meds daily just to cope with life. Through many relationships and emotional trauma she found herself rethinking her belief that there was no God. Through years of soul searching she followed boyfriend into church, after months of Gods miraculous work. She realized THIS JESUS THING WAS MINE. I'M NOT GONNA BE WHO YOU EXPECTED- featuring Shawn Slotterback

8/5/2023
The word stupid was thrown around a lot in Shawns life. It began with his father, transitioned to his teachers, and landed with his peers calling for him to stop being stupid. Early on Shawn decided to live up to the bar set for him. The various forms of abuse he endured mounted inside him making him a rage machine. Anything and everything would set him off, he spent more days in detention than class and was continually in fights at school. Bull Riding became his life in high school and he constantly left people in shock at the risks he was willing to take. The well kept secret was his reasoning for taking the risks, he was not afraid to die. In fact he felt death couldn't come fast enough. His first suicidal attempt was at 9 years old. Several other attempts followed him throughout his life. He couldn't escape this tormenting spirit. He might feel okay after a big win, but that same old voice would come back to haunt them the minute he has a sub par performance. He was a loser. He was destined to be a loser. TUNE IN to hear the miracle that happened in Shawns life the transformation that lead him to call his father and say I'M NOT GONNA BE WHO YOU EXPECTED. IN AN INSTANT- featuring Faith Dekens

6/23/2023
For a girl named Faith, she lived a life where there was little of it. At just three years old her first memory was her house being raided by the police. Her Father was heavily addicted to all manner of drugs and she never remembers a time he was sober. Whenever the chaos and madness would catch up to him, his answer was to move her mom and two brothers to another state or another city for a fresh start. Unfortunately, bound by the same habits and decisions the trajectory of their lives would end back in chaos. Domestic Violence and Emotional Neglect was par for the course in her life. Her Mother was terrified to stand up for herself because of the threats he made, her answer was to work hard and pay the bills. Faith was hopeful for a moment when her Father ended up in prison, but alcoholism stepped in and brought things back to chaos. As Faith grew up she began to wonder how her life could be different, how she could find fulfillment: maybe a steady relationship, maybe a baby of her own? After a lifetime of chaos her answer came and everything changed IN AN INSTANT. Don't forget to share our show, follow us, and leave us a review! JESUS LOVES YOU- featuring Gary Basham

4/21/2023
Yes. Jesus Loves You those three little words were what Gary would remember laying flat on his back in intensive care. The doctor who had told him that he needed a serious open heart procedure because of the major damage his meth addiction had done had just walked out of the door. He had said he needed emergency surgery and he had to be transported but they didn't think he would live through the flight. All the sudden Gary felt something he had never felt before the FEAR of God. Like a Movie his mind played all the horrific and terrible things he had done. He wasn't even sure if he believed in God, but for the first time in his life he realized he was in deep trouble if there was one. That's when those three little words that his customer said came to mind. If those words were true, maybe there was hope. He pulled the wires out, got up and stumbled towards the phone, he had to know. Don't forget to share our show, follow us, and leave us a review! Angels are mentioned over 273 times in the bible! Though a lot of things remain a mystery about the supernatural beings, the bible shares a lot about the purposes of angels all throughout its pages. Exodus 23:20 "Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepares." and Hebrews 1:14 "Are they not ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who inherit salvation?" Our guest today testified to angelic encounters that she had throughout her husband and her ministry. THEY DON'T KNOW US LIKE THAT-featuring Verenice Guzman

2/23/2023
Growing up Verenice had no concept of a Father in her household. Everyone she knew including herself, grew up Fatherless. Yet, she knew there was something in her heart that longed for that relationship. She would cry for him in her sleep though she didn't know exactly what she was crying for, what it was she was missing, or what a Father was suppose to be. All she knew of him was his voice over the phone. One day a phone call came and she learned she would never hear his voice again. The first time she would see her dad was lying in his casket at his funeral. Her emotions were complicated, how do you grieve someone you never met? The impact of the relationship she never had would rear its ugly head as Verenice got older. Without correct reference points for how a man should treat her, Verenice found herself repeating the self destructive patterns she saw around her. TUNE IN to hear Verenice's story how Jesus saved her, blessed her, and broke the generational curse. Now she has two beautiful children growing up with a father and a mother. Verenice testifies "they Know who we were, but THEY DON'T KNOW US LIKE THAT" Don't forget to share our show, follow us and give us your feedback! IF YOU'RE REAL;BE IN MY LIFE -featuring Johnny Guzman

1/18/2023
He thought every kid lived like this. He didn't even realize they were poor until much later in life. Didn't everyone have to to go through bouts of abuse? Hunger drove him to steal on a weekly bases from a nearby convenience store. He became the provider and self appointed protector of his little sister Violet. His Dad was always out of the picture. Despite his less than ideal circumstances, he loved his mother deeply and longed to fix what was plaguing her. At the age of 8 his mother never returned from a weekend of partying and this was reported to CPS. The next few years of their lives were different foster families, court dates, and occasional visits from their Mom. When it was determined, that she would never get her rights back he was adopted at the age of 12. His physical circumstances instantly improved, he couldn't believe the house he got to live in or the fact that he always had enough food! The first Christmas he spent with his new family felt like a movie. But the pain, hatred, and anger that had hardened his heart would not allow him to accept his new parents. He kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. They tried everything sports, counselors, rehab- they even tried moving to a little town in Prescott AZ away from the high crime and big city. It all kept spiraling out of control. He didn't know God or who He was but in a last ditch effort He said. THE HIGHEST POWER-featuring Kerrie Cutter

12/28/2022
Kerrie loved to have fun her whole life. From the time she was little her main objective was to make her brothers and sisters laugh. She found that was her signature for getting attention amongst her six siblings! At the age of twelve she watched her friend from youth group and her older sister make decisions for Christ and really change! She didn't want to miss out, so she went through the baptism class, but remembers deciding that she would still be the master of her own destiny! Little did she know what that decision would lead to. A lifetime of living for herself brought her laughs during the day but gnawing guilt at night. To rid herself from the reality of her actions she immersed herself in the feminist's theology that put her in the drivers seat, told her she didn't really care what men thought, and excused her abortions. She was just fine if she could work hard and stay high. It wasn't til the age of 28 that her lifestyle of promiscuity, affairs, cocaine, and partying took her to a place where she isolated herself from society. She could do nothing but make her drug and and smoke it. The destiny she had created for herself was less than stellar but would her biggest obstacle PRIDE allow her to admit she didn't only need a higher power of some flavor, but THE HIGHEST POWER. GOD LOVES ME- featuring Amy Snyder

10/20/2022
Amy was searching for an opportunity that would take her away from her families rules and requirements. She loved them, they were great, but she couldn't help the mounting desire to be away from them, to be her own person, and out from under the conviction her church brought. One day a co- worker told her about a military opportunity. THIS WAS IT! The military was honorable, but would also be sure to take her far far away. She spoke to a recruiter and some time later found herself aboard a ship on her first deployment to the Middle East. This was exactly the opportunity she was looking for ... or was it? Amy speaks openly and vulnerably about the realities of her quest and ultimately what changed everything for her. She had all the knowledge of God from growing up hearing about him from the time she was 18 months old, but the revelation that changed everything was a simple beautiful truth despite EVERYTHING she had done wrong she realized, GOD LOVES ME. A REDEMPTION STORY featuring Kelly Galvan

7/7/2022
A little girl caught up in the nightmare of physical and sexual abuse, Kelly was taught by the adults around her that you keep secrets, say nothing, and you don't stick up for yourself. She lived a life of loneliness always anticipating the worst. They never left her apartment or went anywhere. School wasn't any better as she became a target for bullying. She found herself going from one relationship to the next looking for love but being used. The Rejection deepened. When her sister who had been the one person who seemed to understand told her she was moving out to another state the hopelessness consumed her. SOMEONE I COULD TELL YOU ABOUT featuring Andrea Sanchez

4/30/2022
Andrea moved to Chinle, a small reservation town in AZ as a small child. She grew up in a happy home with amazing parents who loved her and her siblings. She counts herself lucky to live in a place that allows kids to be kids without many of the distractions of a larger town or the inner city. Internet was barely a thing, computers were used just at school and her little town was about 10 years behind everything else. It also was teeny tiny with a population of approx 3500. Her Father was the minister of the local church and was known and loved by the entire city. The community knew their church and Andrea was happy to be involved in every way she could from singing in choir, teaching Children's Church, Sunday School, and Community outreaches. Not all was beautiful here though, a culture steeped in false religion and plagued by broken families and suicide kept her family busy shining the light of the gospel and serving day in and day out. Everyone who saw or would meet Andrea would assume that she was saved. As a matter of fact, she thought she was. TUNE IN to hear what revealed that Jesus was not her Lord in SOMEONE I COULD TELL YOU ABOUT. Andrea gets raw in her genuine retelling of her journey as a chruch kid raised in the presence of God and what ultimately lead to her surrender.
