Meet Valentina Djelaj & Corktown Health. Valentina Djelaj (She/Her) is the Vice President of Programs & Community Impact at Corktown Health. In this role, she oversees the behavioral health, preventive health, care management, and financial support services departments. Valentina has worked in the HIV field for over a decade and is passionate about addressing social determinants of health. She received her Graduate Certificate in Research and Evaluation and a Master of Social Work degree in Community Practice and Social Action from Wayne State University. Meet Luanne Offer, President and Cindy Weber, President-Elect of Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan. Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan, founded in 1993 and serving Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), hands-on, all-volunteer organization. Assistance League volunteers transform the lives of children and adults through community programs. Funding sources supporting our Philanthropic Programs include the all-volunteer staffed Assistance League ReSale Connection shop, fundraisers, grantors and contributors. Meet Kim Howard, Director of Stewardship & Engagement and Adam DesJardins, Resource Services Coordinator from Culture Source. CultureSource is a member association for non-profit arts and cultural organizations in Southeast Michigan serving Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe and St. Clair counties. As a regional service organization, they do this work through hosting professional development workshops that grow creative and leadership capacities, presenting programs that provide space for exchanging ideas about arts and culture, and leading initiatives that bring together stakeholders interested in the public accessing creative expression. Kim reminds us that determination pays off, as this was her 3rd time applying for the Impact100 MD grant. She also gives us a glimpse into the $100,000 project and why it's so important to her.

By day, Amy Bouque is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kelly Services, a workforce solutions company headquartered in Troy, MI. Additionally, Amy is a dedicated community volunteer, wife and mother of two. Her community involvement spans from having served on the board of Cass Community Social Services, being a founding board member of Impact100 Metro Detroit, and coordinating and volunteering for Focus Hope Delivery. Amy has degrees from both Michigan State University and Wayne State University.
