We're back for our season 4 opener with some atomic celluloid in form of... THE TOXIC AVENGER. Since the newest iteration just premiered at Fantastic Fest, I figured it's high time to subject Mitch to New Jersey's finest. This is a pretty nasty movie with some childish humor, so tread lightly into this expletive-laden episode.

We're in between seasons, so we're just going to take it easy and talk about a few things we've seen! At the end, I'll review the pick for our season 4 opener!

We've finally made it to the end of Season 3 and we're going out with a bang. It's a long one, so diaper up! We'll be back possibly with a micro hell then our season 4 opener.

It's about time we look at some movies from the homeland with some appreciation and admiration. For those not in the know, have no fear, Can-Con is simply Canadian content, so we're starting what will be a yearly trek into the Northern film wilderness. We'll get weird. We'll get wild. I'll have a weird, sad tangent on my personal fears over the looming spectre of artificial intelligence. Films discussed include: Clearcut, Slash/Back, Viking, I Like Movies, Blackberry, The Dirties and Operation Avalanche.

It's time! The end of our third season is drawing near and, with that, it's time for Mitch to attempt to drag me to Hell. Listen as we dive into what might be the most oddly cast film about the Italian mob to ever exist... KNOCKAROUND GUYS!

Valentine's day is silly, but do you know what isn't silly? My Bloody Valentine! Make yourself a bed of roses and listen to find out whether Mitch has a cold, dead heart and hates this Canadian slasher classic. Also, I had too recently listened to the director's commentary prior to recording and, as a result, refer to the character of Howard as Alfie (the actor portraying him) throughout this episode. Happy fucking New Year! I (Stefan) ended up with COVID, so we decided to record a random episode on one of the worst-reviewed films of 2022... Firestarter! This will undoubtedly vie for the spot of least listened to episode. Anyways, Mitch and I set out to watch what we expected to be a turd, and it turned out to... well, not be that. We'll be back to regular programming with an episode on Basic Instinct followed by an episode on our best and worst films of 2022.

It may have many names, but who cares! In this episode, we're diving into 1989's Deadly Games. Will this French oddity be enough to drag Mitch to Hell? You'll have to listen to find out!
