Nah, I don't want to be just friends

10/2/2022

What you'll find is that it's all part of her masterplan in practicing radical honesty and the art of detachment. It's literally my life

7/17/2022
Raise your hand if you weren't allowed to cut your hair, shave your legs, or use a tampon growing up. Brown girlies everywhere unite! In this episode, host Harpo talks about all the things she and the brown girls in her life weren't allowed to do growing up. What she realizes in all of that is that seeking permission to modify your body creates a very disembodied life. It means the ownership of your body is actually in the hands of another's, which is not how we're trying to move forward. In the end, Harpo leaves us all with an affirmation to reclaim the ownership of our bodies and anchor into the into that it's not their bodies or lives, it's literally your body and life. Like BGG?
