This week we’re talking the one and only Bloodstock Open Air 2021! Tom reminisces about trench foot, broken bones and almost blinding someone. Ben gets fat in the slow pit, and Josh reports from darkest Cornwall.

It gets weird.

This week we’re talking ‘Once’ by Nightwish, ‘In The Constellation Of The Black Widow’ by Anaal Nathrakh, and ‘Fortress’ by Protest The Hero. Josh plays a fun game with a shopkeeper, Ben is suspicious of the elves, and Tom holds his children close and prays for oblivion.

This week we talk about 'Family The Smiling Thrush' - the eagerly awaited album by stoner / prog / doom masters; Boss Keloid.

We’re back with ‘Black Sabbath’ by Black Sabbath, ‘Indestructible’ by Disturbed, and ‘Sunset On The Golden Age’ by Alestorm! Josh witnesses a brutal murder, Ben gets patriotic about day drinking, and Tom finally admits he’s nothing but a dirty landlubber. Avast!

What! No Music!? That's right. We look back over 12 episodes of heavy metal related stupidity, and reflect on our favourite albums of the season. We also discuss podcasts, metal, cartography, and a bit more metal. Josh claims to have played in a folk band, Ben colludes in the Horus Heresy, and Tom makes a terrible error.

EP. 11 - We’re going big with Linkin Park’s ‘Hybrid Theory’, Ghost’s ‘Meliora’ and Rammstein’s ‘Rammstein’. Tom delivers his judgement on Linkin Park, Josh hasn’t been possessed by spooky spirits yet, and Ben makes a rash purchase.

What, not metal!? Thats right. This week we’re talking ‘Ceremonials’ by Florence + The Machine, ‘Ruins’ by Wolf People, and ‘In The Aeroplane Over The Sea’ by Neutral Milk Hotel. We rebrand to the Face Podcast, Josh compares Florence + The Machine to Dimmu Borgir, and we identify the four key instruments: drums, bass, guitar, and atmospheric battle sound effects.

We’re talking Nekrofilth’s ‘Devil’s Breath’, The Kristet Utseende’s ‘Pervogenesis’, and Shadow Of Intent’s ‘Reclaimer’. Josh tells us about the time he got locked in a toilet, Tom defends the indefensible, and Ben thinks caves aren’t outdoors.
