For Halloween, she made a Barf John Candy costume for her daughter with knit fingerless driving gloves out of Knit Picks Essential Sock in Timber, embroidered name patch and needle-felted hairpiece. Jill sewed a felt ornament using the Twelve Days of Christmas patterns by Larissa Holland of Mmmcrafts and Benzies wool blend felt. She finished the #2 turtle dove ornament. She also made a few more mittens for the Smitten Garland by Emily Ivey and decided that 12 mittens was enough for the garland. Jill also made a couple hats for Starling including a fox hat from the Foxy & Wolfie hat by Ekaterina Filippova-Blanchard out of Cloudborn Fibers Superwash Merino DK (Rav page here) and Cellarium test knit by Rachel Illsley in Woolfolk SNO 01+02 (Rav page here). She used The Royal Bee Yarn Co. Fingering weight yarn in Nina says have your teal cake and eat it too! and Phillip says don't curry, be happy! She had plenty of both yarns left over. She also finished up her Combo Spin. It was 9 oz of miscellaneous fibers in blues, reds and other colors! She ended up with about 604 yards of a 3-ply DK weight yarn.
