I am not a fan of this book and it was really easy to club it like a baby seal. I know that the majority of American churches today are broken and not doing the right thing but this is not the right book to set all that straight. I understand that the author is trying to bring restoration inside the congregation but this is not the right way to do it, in my opinion. This book should not be directed towards your new members. WAY back in the day (2006 or 2007) I was on a wild call. It involved nudity, police, bomb squad, and adult protective services. And this all happened over a 4 day period of work. It’s one of those wild weeks that happen so often in the fire service. My kids say I exaggerate too much but this is all a true story.
