Phungreiso Varu is a versatile professional holding a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from TISS, Mumbai, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism. His expertise in communication, writing, and storytelling has been refined over the years. As an advocate for social development, he has dedicated himself to empowering marginalized communities and youth throughout India, especially in the Northeast. His impactful research and work have been presented internationally, including in South Africa and Thailand, aimed at sparking positive change. Notably, he was honoured with the Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mitra Award in 2009. With a career that spans roles at BBC-Media Action and as a Professor at Assam Don Bosco University in Northeast India, he has continually expanded his knowledge, completing programs at the esteemed Coady Institute in Canada and the University of Michigan in 2021, focusing on leadership development, inspiring and motivating individuals.In this book, he invites young readers to delve into stories of resilience, demonstrating that every challenge and aspiration is conquerable.

His Elder Bro Sharan Ahaonao was also the Tangkhul Topper in 12th Science in 2018 and currently undergoing commercial pilot taining at IGRUA and his elder sister Ella Ahaonao was also the 12 Science topper and currently studying at St Stephen College, DU. Horzak Zimik a.k.a. Sopkai Zimik is a YouTuber, photographer and videographer from Ukhrul District. Recently he completed a solo cycle ride from Shillong to Ukhrul, covering a total distance of 693.5kms. He took on the journey from Shillong on Sep 6th and completed the run on 17th Sep after 11 days despite many challenges along the way. He named his ride- Trustride which he said is about "Trusting myself, trusting my bicycle, trusting my guts, trusting the road, trusting people." Meisum in partnership with All Tangkhul Medicos Association organized a zoom discussion on 2nd June to know more about Covid-19 second wave. Dr. Shomi Raman discussed on 'Early treatment and consultation'. Dr. Wormi Ragui presented on 'Vaccination' and Dr. Soror Raleng shared us on Covid Medical Insurance. It was indeed a great learning experiences for all of us who were present in the zoom conversation with the Doctors. Here the zoom recoding for those who could not participate in the discussion. Padma Shri Rewben Mashangva also popularly known as Guru Rewben Mashangva (born June 21, 1961)is a folk musician and singer from Manipur, India.He is known for reviving musical tradition of the Tangkhul Naga of Manipur, and use of traditional musical instruments in his songs. Influenced by musicians like Bob Dylan and Bob Marley, Rewben Mashangva has created many Naga tribal folk songs based on blues and ballad rhythms. He is known by different names like, Bob Dylan of the Nagas and King of Naga folk blues, Father of Naga folk blues.He received the National Tribal Award 2011-12, for his contribution to the development of tribal music from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. Rewben Mashangva was featured in the first season of The Dewarists along with The Raghu Dixit Project. On 26th January 2021 on the auspicious occasion of Republic day, he was honoured by the President of India with Padma Shri, the 4th highest civilian award by the republic of India in recognition for his contribution towards art and music.
