Talking S.H.I.T.

Kyle guest stars this week while Ross is away drinking with robots. The Patriots are flip flopping more than a pair of flip flops --- Jones sucks right now. We also had our first ever call in from Dan (which didn't get picked up on audio at all). I didn't edit it out at all so enjoy not hearing Dan in the last few minutes of the pod this week.

That's right SHIT Heads! Ross and Don are back for a second season of your favorite S.H.I.T. L.E.A.G.U.E. weekly recap show! We're starting you off with some recaps, Studs and Duds, and a look ahead to Week 2. Well SHIT Heads - here we are. We've made it through 17 weeks of fantasy football highs and lows only to end with one of the most lopsided Championships we've ever seen. A new report from Adam Schefter sheds some light on the sudden Antonio Brown exit from the Bucs game (and the NFL?) - he was just embarrassed by Josh's performance and wanted no part of the shameful loss. That said, Congrats to Craig for taking home the hardware! In addition to a quick recap, Ross and Don leave you with some Fun Facts and League / Season Superlatives. Hello there SHIT Heads! We have a special Christmas themed episode where we explore all the highs and lows of the penultimate fantasy football week. Next week we crown the 2021/22 Champion! Who wants that Aaron Hernandez Trophy more? Who's positioned to take the BIG W? Craig or Josh - who ya got? We also explore the strange strategy of one, Dan Moriarty and QB play.

And there it is... Week 1 of the SHIT LEAGUE Playoffs in the books. Ross and Craig continue their playoff hopes and will face Josh and Dan respectively in Round 2. Stick around until the VERY end of this weeks episode for a special news bulletin from the Talking SHIT hosts. ps: Brian, you SUCK!

So much going on this week. Playoff seeding is all over the place (Except if you're an Alexander and you're already locked into the 9 / 10 seeds). Even as Ross and Don record this episode there's a lot of uncertainty (Unless you're an Alexander). Even at the time of this upload there's an outside change that everyone can make the playoffs (Unless you're an Alexander). Next week we get the SHIT BOWL and the Alexander's get to battle it out! 2 Alexander's enter, only one emerges. Ohhhh the anticipation!

Ross and I are keeping this one short so we can focus on watching the Pats and Bills game. We'll run you through our usual Studs and Duds before doing a quick recap of matchups that are all but wrapped up for the week. One more week to go before...PLAYOFFS! We'll let you know how the seedings COULD play out. So much on the line.

Ross and Don continue to waste their breath on all of you. Week after week we bless your ears with facts that you simply ignore. Why isn't anyone investing in good kickers?! Also, who the fuck starts Cam Newton? Dan, that's who. Why is he even rostered? Only 2 weeks left in the fantasy regular season and lots to be decided. Also, as I type this...FUCK! All I needed for a win was Gibson to not outscore Metcalf by 26 points. At the time of upload I only have a 5 point lead because Gibson has 20 points and Metcalf has been held scoreless. DK is also a dud this week. That is all.

Kickers are the oft forgotten hero's of the the fantasy world. This week showed us just how big a difference these giant leg swingers can effect the outcome of a matchup. *Hint* it's not ideal when they score 0 or fewer points. QB play continues to lack for the most part, though Ross does take the opportunity to toot his his own horn (again). Finally, there's a log jam for the last playoff spot with three weeks to go. Who will make it and who will be forgotten?

Another uninspiring week of QB play as far as fantasy goes. Half of this weeks starting QBs scored 20 or less points. Believe it or not we only have 4 weeks left in the fantasy regular season. We'll be talking playoffs in the near future. In the meantime, let's break down the matchups in front of us the only way Ross and Don know how - solidly mediocre.

"You get a dud. You get a dud. EVERYONE GETS A DUUUUUUD!!!" A special thanks to Oprah for taking over Fantasy Football this week. Wow. What a week. Everyone looked like S.H.I.T.! There's not much to say other than Ross man handled Dave (and his sister). We'll cover this and more this week on.... Talking S.H.I.T.

***Disclaimer*** Minimal effort was put into the editing of this episode. Much like the players in the league this week, I'm taking a week off from giving a shit. Three teams are scoring under 100 points (in a league that has had multiple 150+ point performances). Kyle, Brian, and of course Kevin all put forth shit performances and I'm taking their lead tonight. At least I'm performing better than Jalen Hurts did in his team blowout win!

Ross has an itch to scratch in Week 7. Oh wait...that's just Poison Ivy spreading down his arm. We'll keep this episode short so Ross can get into an oatmeal bath. But before we give him some relief, lets dig deeper into who performed and you laid an egg. Will Josh pull off the comeback? Time will tell but time is running out! Like many players this week...Bye!

Week after week Ross and Don try giving you the best advice - do you listen? It seems like the answer is NO! What the FUCK!? Oh well - we tried. Interruptions galore this week as we one again split our attention between MNF, the Sox, and a dumb dog. Despite all that we fight through to give you the most irrelevant advice and analysis on all things SHIT LEAGUE whether you want it or not.

That's right! Ross and I aren't here just to talk shit! We're breaking NEWS! Lot's to unpack this week and as it turns out the week is going to end A LOT different than it seemed it would at the time of this recording. You could choose to ignore half of what we have to say - but what's the fun in that?! You win some, you loose some.

MNF may have been delayed but you can't stop the hosts of Talking S.H.I.T. from doing there thang. Week 4 is nearly in the bag and your two hosts with the most are still battling into the 4th quarter, hoping to pull off a win. The Alexander's keep starting injured players. Lesser known studs and big name duds. Who made the list? Like what you're hearing? Let us know. Want to be on the show? Let us know.

Man, do the Bears suck! You know who else sucks? The Alexander Brothers who both put up real dud performances this week. Opposite those duds we had Josh putting a pounding on Kyle. How does winning feel on ya? A lot of highs, a lot of lows is the theme of this week. And just as this episode goes up, Matt is barely squeaking by with the victory over Dan. We're on to Week 4.
