Screaming at the Sky: A Truly Unhinged Taylor Swift Fan Podcast

Mari & Annie recorded this nearly a month ago, but... enjoy as they talk non-stop for an hour about the magic of their Era's tour experience after attending Night 2 in Minneapolis (on 6/24/23). Dear John AND Daylight? We really won. This night was sparkling and we will NOT be letting it go.

The crossover episode that no one asked for: Taylor Swift x Lord of the Rings. Mari & Annie go there and back again, assigning TS songs to each of the main characters from the LOTR trilogy - aka "The Fellowship of the Paper Rings", "The 22 Towers", and "The Return of the King of my Heart". Come along with us on this unexpected journey, but only if you love these movies like we do, because otherwise it will make zero sense (disclaimer, it will probably make zero sense either way).

Mari & Annie are as manic as ever as they talk the Era's tour kick-off in Glendale, AKA Swift City. They each craft their own ideal ~ Era's ~ setlist and identify at which points they will be crying, as well as which suprise songs they hope to hear (or not). Warning: there are a few tour spoilers in case you're trying to hide from social media like we are. Secondary warning: Mari threatens to shit her pants no fewer than 9 times.

This episode is shorter than usual because Mari forced Annie at gunpoint to listen to then rank 16 "official" TS remixes and... spoiler alert, she hated it. Laugh along with us as we wander through the "haunted club" that is Taylor Swift's catalog of insane remixes.

Mari & Annie respond to (get mad about) a bunch of Taylor Swift related "Hot Takes", ranging from the polarizing nature of "Lover" all the way to the merits of "Macavity", and about 87 tangents in between.

Our holiday hiatus is finally over! Inspired by it's final track "New Years Day", Mari & Annie ring in 2023 (a month late) by re-living the 2017 cataclysmic event known as the release of the album "Reputation", as well as a song-by-song breakdown of how much we didn't appreciate this album enough at first, but both love it so much now, despite Ed Sheeran rapping.

Mari & Annie finally hear "Hits Different" by questionable means and attempt to rank all of Taylor Swift's saddest songs in a NCAA Final Four style bracket, only to realize they don't know how that works and quickly come unraveled.

Mari & Annie quickly update their feelings about the music of Midnights, specifically the "3am Edition" tracks. Mari brought a lot of notes and some pop quizzes, while Annie just yells some more about Lana Del Ray and kicking a door down to fight John Mayer.

It's the day of our lord October 21st. Mari & Annie share their first impressions of the first 13 tracks of "Midnights". Highlights include Mari being emotionally pushed off a cliff by YOYOK and Annie needing to call her therapist after Anti-hero.
