Today we are exploring birth trauma. What it is, major themes, risk factors, and prevention. Bryony Crain, who is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and owner of Rebirth Counseling and Coaching, a private psychotherapy practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. Bryony spent the beginning stages of her career working at a domestic violence shelter and various university counseling centers. But after the birth of her daughter in 2016, she became inspired to learn more about perinatal mental health, and primarily focuses on this area in her practice. She is particularly passionate about advocacy and awareness related to traumatic childbirth.
