Traveling with Pets (ft. Emily Wilson)

5/3/2024
Ever wanted to travel with your pets, but didn't know where to begin? In today's episode our guest Emily Wilson will be joining us as she talks about how she hops around the globe with her furry friends. Emily is a TCK who went back and forth between California and South Africa, she and her family treated our jack russell like family. He came with them on their travels. So, when she got my first dog as an adult , it made complete sense to bring her from Kenya back to California and a few years later she went with them to Ecuador before returning to California. "We love traveling and we love our dogs. It’s not always easy to combine the two especially when that means getting on flights or crossing borders. That's why I created Pets Around the World because I know there are others who would like to move or visit somewhere new and they want to bring their pets with them. Unseen Baggage (ft. T.L. Mazumdar)

4/19/2024
TL joins us on this episode as we talk about some of the unseen baggage we TCKs have to navigate through on a daily basis from interacting with mono cultural people, and addressing some of the baggage we have been carrying around when people aren't looking. Indo-German Musician/Educator EveryNowHere aka T.L. Mazumdar has been nominated for national awards and called ''...a major talent'' by the likes of Jack Douglas (Producer: John Lennon, Miles Davis, etc.). A quintessential Third Culture Kid and nomad, his music celebrates the acceptance of a blur of constantly changing backdrops as 'home' and the shedding of socio-cultural baggage to reveal stories closer to the truth of the human condition. -------------------------------------- If you would like to be a guest on the podcast as well, feel free to reach out and send us a message on Instagram!
