In addition to the institutional impossibility of war powers and decisions in the hands of a multi-member body like Congress, the president is the only official who was elected to, among other things, serve as commander-in-chief. Iran's regional attacks and desperation have backfired, uniting moderate Arab countries in strong opposition to Iran, as seen in recent Security Council sessions. From the outset, the Iranians asserted that uranium enrichment was Iran's inalienable right and declared their large stockpile of enriched material—approximately 22,000 pounds—was off the table for negotiation. This could yield about 11 nuclear bombs if further enriched. Witkoff and Jared Kushner quickly became skeptical of Iran's willingness to make acceptable concessions. Instead, Iran sought to disguise an ongoing research and development effort to maintain enrichment flexibility and breakout capability. Rejecting the no-enrichment deal revealed their true motivations were not civilian but weapons-oriented, allowing rapid production of enough material for dozens of bombs if unchecked. Witkoff reported these deceptions and unassailable facts to President Trump, who then made a tough, consequential decision in response. What you see, right now, occurring in Congress, is precisely why the delegates at the Constitutional Convention did not confer war powers on Congress. In fact, the delegates specifically changed the original draft of the Constitution from Congress having the power to make war to the power to declare war. That is, Congress was granted the authority to declare its support for war, not declare war as a condition of making war or going to war. And it is precisely why declarations of war have never been determinative in whether war is made or not -- since the beginning of our Republic. United States is an unprecedented form of self-sabotage or national suicide, where the greatest nation deliberately opened its borders, imported people from regions who refuse to assimilate, contribute, or integrate, and instead seek to destroy and conquer from within. This is not a hostile invasion, but a celebrated parade enabled by the Democrat Party, liberal groups in Europe and elsewhere, and secularists, and who believe in unrestricted openness. Later, the media report on every instance when ICE detains someone who, it later turns out, should not have been detained. There will always be some level of misidentification when dealing with such large numbers of people and chaotic situations. There were no endless news reports on what has happened to people when the border was wide open, and the brutality and inhumanity resulting from that policy. The murdered, raped, and otherwise brutalized American citizens are mostly ignored. The media are so completely in the tank for the Democrats and the left, they're open and blatant about it and don't give a damn. Also, this debt crisis in America predates President Trump – it stems from a massive welfare state which expanded to include illegal aliens, unchecked waste, fraud, and abuse costing hundreds of billions annually, and out-of-control Marxist-socialist policies. Congress is unable to fix this problem because Democrats want to spend even more. Unchecked fiscal irresponsibility risks economic collapse, worthless currency, stagflation, societal dislocation, and violent riots if the system fails. We need to ensure that our republic survives! Lastly, the Democrats in the House voted against funding key components of the Department of Homeland Security, including FEMA, TSA, the Secret Service, and others, while ICE funding continues through 2027. Democrats are pushing demands that would severely hamper ICE's ability to identify, apprehend, detain, and deport illegal aliens, while granting increased protections to them. Democrats will orchestrate a propaganda campaign, with media assistance, to blame Republicans for resulting inconveniences to air travelers and disaster victims when they shut down the government. Iran will never change their ways; there mindset is not about deals. Islamism seeks total control over mind, body, society, and government through Sharia, unlike the Judeo-Christian focus on individual liberty. Islam has not undergone an enlightenment against theocracy, and dominant Muslim groups in the West support Islamism, which rejects interpretive diversity and often prioritizes political agendas, including antisemitism and anti-Israel motives. Islamists aim to conquer rather than coexist, as shown by sectarian violence, terrorism (Hamas, Al Qaeda, etc.), and Iran’s deceptive pursuit of nuclear weapons despite negotiations.
