As we’re entering this last week some of us may feel like we don’t want 2019 to end and some of us are glad it’s nearly over, but regardless we’re all in between the old and the new. We will all experience times of transition in our lives and what we do during the in between has an impact on the outcome. We can choose to be patient and trust God or we can complain and try to do things on our own, but the decision is ours to make. Even when things don’t work out the way we thought or planned,...

The Christmas season is a busy time of year. We often find ourselves going from celebration to celebration, checking off our to do list, searching for the perfect gift. While the holiday season is usually a joyous time, for some it can be a difficult time. Let’s make sure to keep the door to our hearts open and invite Jesus in to do what only He can do. When we open the doors of our life to Him, He’ll come in and we’ll see that life is so much better with Him than it is without.

The Word of God is powerful and meant to be applied and produce change in our lives. We were created in the likeness and image of God which means our words also carry power and it’s our responsibility to be mindful of what we’re saying. Prayer is vital to the life of a believer. We see in the Word that even Jesus Himself had to take time out to pray so we know that it’s important for us to do the same. By spending time in prayer we strengthen our relationship with God and get to know Him and His heart for our lives.
