We hear about Leonard Attwood, George Gerrard, Clifford Dale, Joseph Marshall, and Percy Corrick. This is our promised 2nd podcast on the research and practical treatment by Karilyn and Richard of people in Tanzania who had HIV. It is a very moving account, hearing first hand from Karilyn and Richard on their research, practical treatment, fund raising and publicising their work to deal with the consequences of HIV. They saved many patients lives through their pioneering research and practical approach as they worked at Muheza hospital over a number of years. We have only covered half of their work in this podcast and later this year we will have part 3 with them. Today Mike and I learnt from Freya, Jessica, Daisy, Harry, Matthew and Taylor about their Year 5 work on helping to make their community a safer place in support of the Sutton St Nicholas Parish Council. Their Year 5 teacher Miss Sheppard, and Mrs Bloore the Head of School talked to us through the Harmony Project (a Worldwide Project in schools). The children then went on tell us about looking forward to starting in Year 6 in September and then they finished off with some jokes! Mrs Bloore chooses a recipe from our village Cook Book. The Loafing Pilgrim - Revd Paul Roberts

I caught up with our Rector, Paul Roberts who is currently on a pilgrimage from Dover to the St Bernard's Pass in Switzerland. Paul is walking approx 1,100 kilometres (683 miles). He talks through what a Pilgrimage means to him, his family and all in the Maund Group of Churches in Herefordshire, here in England. So far he has walked 300kms (186miles). Paul also tells us about his study of military history complete with his podcast series "Just A Walk in The Sun".
