Ep. 28 Embrace Your Fear: The Power of Taking Action

5/31/2023
We're Back! I was taking a break from recording and really processing some big life transitions these past months but I am excited to be back and sharing with you all again. In this inspiring episode, we explore the transformative concept of feeling fear and doing it anyway. Facing our fears is crucial for personal growth and living a fulfilling life. Here are some reasons why it is important to face our fears: Overcoming limitations: Fear often creates self-imposed limitations that hold us back from reaching our full potential. By facing our fears, we challenge these limitations and open ourselves up to new opportunities and experiences. Building resilience: Confronting our fears builds resilience and mental strength. When we face our fears, we develop the ability to cope with difficult situations and bounce back from setbacks. This resilience is essential for navigating the ups and downs of life. Expanding our comfort zone: Fear keeps us within our comfort zone, but growth happens outside of it. By facing our fears, we expand our comfort zone and become more comfortable with discomfort. This enables us to take on new challenges and embrace personal and professional growth. Gaining confidence: Each time we face and overcome a fear, our confidence grows. By proving to ourselves that we can handle difficult situations, we develop a sense of self-assurance that permeates all areas of our lives. This newfound confidence empowers us to take on bigger challenges and pursue our dreams. Discovering hidden potential: Many fears are rooted in the unknown or a lack of self-belief. By facing our fears, we unveil our hidden potential and realize that we are capable of far more than we initially thought. This process of self-discovery can lead to profound personal transformation. Expanding life experiences: Fear often prevents us from trying new things and exploring different aspects of life. By facing our fears, we open ourselves up to a wider range of experiences, which can enrich our lives, broaden our perspectives, and create lasting memories. Overcoming regret: Regret often stems from not taking action due to fear. By facing our fears and taking calculated risks, we reduce the likelihood of future regret. Even if things don't go as planned, we can take solace in the fact that we had the courage to try. Ultimately, facing our fears allows us to break free from the constraints that hold us back and embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and personal fulfillment. It is through confronting our fears that we truly unlock our potential and create a life that aligns with our dreams and aspirations. Thanks for tuning in this week! POSITIVE MORNING AFFIRMATIONS

12/8/2022
Hi soul family, This week's episode is a morning affirmation track. Affirmations are statements that help you focus on what you want to feel, create & see in your life. By becoming present and focusing our mind on what we want to feel we take back our power for the day. Affirmations help us to consciously align with what we would like our lives to feel and look like. Don't worry about believing the statements fully at first. It is normal for us to have doubts and feel unaligned with what we want to experience at times. Especially if you have been operating from a negative headspace. With practice and intention, my hope is that these affirmations help you feel a little more positive and confident in your day. Ep. 17 Metamorphosis - The 4 Phases of Life

9/30/2022
Hi friends, This week I'm talking about the 4 main phases we go through as humans. Some compare it to the phases of a butterfly thus..." metamorphosis " 1)Dissolving (Chaos, questioning identity, loss, existential crisis) 2)Imagining (Daydreaming, creative ideas, re-creating self) 3)Reforming (Planning, divine action, stepping into highest path) 4)Flying (Enjoying the fruits of your labor, gratitude, celebration, highest self activated) By understanding the phase we are currently experiencing we can better understand ourselves and how to navigate through them. Learning about these phases and understanding the cycles we go through as humans transformed my life and perspective. I hope you guys enjoy this week's episode! Ep. 15 The 6 Human Needs (focusing on your WHY vs. HOW)

7/31/2022
Hi beautiful friends! I am so happy to be back with a new episode. This week we are diving into The 6 Human Needs which is something I learned from Tony Robbins (a big mentor in my self-development). The 6 Human Needs are...Certainty, Growth, Contribution, Significance, Love(connection), and Variety(Uncertainty). We meet our needs in unhealthy and healthy ways. Most of us aren't even conscious of the negative ways we are meeting these ways. All it takes is an awareness and a willingness to shift! Learning this tool and activity shifted my whole world. It shifted the way I view other people and myself. It allowed me to understand the motives behind people's actions and my own habits. It transformed my perspective and allowed me to have more compassion for the world and myself. I sincerely hope it does the same for you :) Here is the activity I recommend trying in your journal: 1) Organize the human needs in order of importance to you 1-6 (be honest) 2) Organize the top 3 that are most important in your life (think about the big choices in your timeline and what motivated them) 3) Write down the unhealthy ways you've met these 3 needs in the past (without judgment) 4) Write down new healthy ways you can meet these needs moving forward 5) Reflect and integrate <3 (credit goes out to Tony Robbins and the Tony Robbins Foundation 6 Human Needs) Here are the rest of the journal prompts diving deeper into your WHY: -what does my dream ideal life look like? -who is around me? -what am I wearing? -how do I feel? -How do I speak to myself and others? -what do I do in the mornings before I work etc. how do I prioritize the things that feel good to me? -what is my perspective on challenge and failure? Thank you for supporting and tuning in this week, peace and blessings :) IG @lifebeneaththeshallows @naia.litman --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/naialitman/support

Ep. 14 “Hard work” vs. Conscious work

6/16/2022
Hi, beautiful beings, This week I speak on the idea that we must work hard to succeed. I challenge us all to rethink our agreement on this concept and instead open our perspectives. What if we worked more consciously with intention and discipline. What if our goals and dreams could be pulled by beautiful energy of trust and excitement rather than fear and doubt. What if the word "hard" no longer needs to exist in our vocabulary. Thanks for tuning in this week! Ep. 10 Why decisive people are more confident

3/18/2022
Indecision sucks. If you are like me and have a hard time making those tough decisions (or even the small ones) from where to eat, to what you want to do in your career, than this episode is for you! We can't predict what is going to happen all of the time. Life is unpredictable and ever-changing. We CAN however learn how to be quick with our decision-making and trust our gut and intuition. Making decisions from a resourced place will help you to learn faster and gain more confidence in your ability to be the driver in your life. By deciding we allow ourselves to move forward in some way and learn what we feel aligned with and what we don't. We can't just think our way through life we must actually LIVE it to know. This episode covers my thoughts on this topic as well as 3 simple ways to monitor your decision-making and come from a more resourced place.
