Claim your complimentary gift of my exclusive mini weight care guide today! Link: Weight Care Guide — Dr. Francavilla Show (thedrfrancavillashow.com) Have you caught the latest Oprah Special? In Oprah's recent episode: Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution, she talked about a lot of issues related to weight. And in this episode, I want to share my insights and perspective on the topics she discussed to help break them down and explain why they matter. Oprah discussed how individuals with obesity often blame and shame themselves. She shifted the mindset by highlighting the importance of understanding why people gain weight. It's not solely about eating behavior, lack of activity, and definitely not about intelligence or willpower. She emphasized that knowing the science behind it, or simply put, understanding the biology, plays a major role in how we manage weight. This new perspective might help us stop blaming ourselves and start being kinder when it comes to managing our weight. Another interesting thing that Oprah shared was her own experience with weight loss medications, saying they not only helped her lose weight but also made it easier to stop thinking about food all the time. Oprah also discussed the challenges people face in accessing weight management medications. She invited executives from the pharmaceutical industry to shed light on the major hurdles, which they identified as insurance coverage and medication supply shortages Her episode shows that there are still a lot of barriers that people face when it comes to getting the help they need to manage their weight. As we move forward, it's crucial for us to speak up and push for changes that make it easier for everyone to get the support they need for better health. Habits- Seven Tips to Turn Them into Reality

Happy New Year! In this episode, I'll be sharing 7 tips on habit formation, which seems fitting as many people aim to start new habits at the beginning of a new year. They say when building a habit, two main factors come into play: starting the habit (instigation) and carrying it out (execution).
